The Lakers are better this year.The starting line up is better and they have alot more depth.

The starting line up-C 7 Ft Gasol,3 pt shooter,good defense,7.5 pts 6.3 Reb

Anthony Davis 27 pts,2nd best defensive player in the league.
Lebron James 27 pts,Led the league in assists.
PG Schroder 18.9 pts,6th man of the year-runner up
SG Pope 10.2 pts,3 pt shooter,good defense.

Depth.......

Harrell 6'9" 18.2 pts,7.1 Rebounds.6th man of the year.
Kuzma 6'9' 15 pts
Morris 3 pt shooter
Pg Tucker,will score 10 pts per game.
Chris Matthews...Started for the Bucks last year.He is a 6'5" gaurd.Good 3 pt shooter,good defense.
Sg Caruso 6'5" Good back up Guard.

I wasn't shocked about Game 1. Lakers typically don't show up on Ring/Banner Night. Anyone who thinks it's a big deal(cough, Skip Bayless) should relax.
 
The Lakers beat Minnesota 127-91 without Anthony Davis and a injured Lebron James.

The Lakers play Portland tonight with injured Lebron James and Anthony Davis.

The first of back to back games this year.
 
The Lakers lost to Portland 115-107 on there back to back games. AD only scored 13 points.

AD was playing hurt(Calf Contusion) and Harrell only scored 9 points.Kuzma only 6 points.
 
The Lakers beat the Spurs 121-107.Lebron led the way with 26 points.Schroder had 21.

AD had 20.Matthews had 18 in 22 minutes.
 
The Lakers beat the Spurs again 109-103.The Lakers were led by AD with 34-11.

Lebron had a triple double 26-11-10.
 
The Lakers beat the Grizzlies again 94-92 to improve to 6-2.The Lakers were led by AD and Lebron.AD went 26-10 and Lebron went 26-11-7.

The Lakers are missing two guards.One is a starter and the other a good backup.
 
The Lakers drop to 6-3 after getting beat by the Spurs 118-109. AD went 26-10.

Lebron went 27-6-12. The Lakers have to play the Bulls tonight on back to back nights.
 
The Lakers improve to 7-3 after beating the Bulls 117-115 without AD and Caldwell-Pope.

The Lakers were led by Lebron James with 28 points.
 
The Lakers beat Houston again 117-100 to improve to 9-3.The Lakers were led by Lebron with 26 points.

The Lakers have the best record in the NBA.
 
Anthony Davis has been playing with a groin strain.That's why he hasn't been scoring as much as he used to.But he still's been playing because he is the best or 2nd best defensive player in the league.

Matthews hasn't been playing because he has achilles soreness.He started for the Bucks last year.He is a very good defense player and a very good 3 point shooter.
 
The Lakers beat the Pelicans 112-95 to improve to 11-3.Lebron led the way with 21 points.

James also had 11 assists and 8 rebounds.
 
Golden State beat the Lakers 115-113. Curry led the way with 26 points.

The Lakers were led by Schroder with 25 points. AD went 17-17.

The Lakers drop to 11-4. But still have the best record in the NBA.

Pistons beat the Lakers 107-92.Lakers are now 14-6.Anthony Davis did not play.Groin Strain.

Lakers were led by Lebron James and Kuzma both with 22 points.
 
Anthony Davis needs to heal (Groin strain ) if the Lakers want to win the NBA championship.

He is still playing because of his defense.He was the 2nd best defensive player last year.

But he is not scoring no where near his 27 points a game that he scores when healthy.
 
The Lakers beat Boston 96-95. They were led by A.D. with 27 points and 14 rebounds.

The Lakers are now 15-6.
 
The Lakers are 2nd in points differential, only behind the Utah Jazz.

The Lakers are tied for 3rd in rebounds differential,only behind Utah and Milwaukee.
