I said it and I don't take it back. They hadn't lost a set since the Elite Tournament and the only team to beat/play with them was Elder. If X played to their ability even with the errors they beat Darby 9 times out of 10. They didn't play close to their best and got beat. Darby played out of their minds in Games 4 and 5, and you can't let a young team hang around and gain confidence. Ask 2013 St Ignatius who was the favorite on the opposite side of Moeller/Darby that season. They let a young Elder team hang around and got beat as well.
Darby and Moeller now have inside track to the title IMO. Beavercreek looks good thus far up 11-7 on Eds.
