yes but only if you finish 1st in your district, which is a fair criteria, no way ohsaa is going down a road of trying to seed 1st in districts, way too difficult..

I doubt OHSAA is going to get involved , there are flaws in brackets across sports, individual/team.. I don;t think tennis uses a true play in match in their tournaments either.

Name a ohsaa sport team/individual that they seed after the 1st round of state competition? I believe none so why make wrestling an exception... at least when they get to state bracket they make some exceptions .

To be frank, why does it really matter ? I understand I think any system you use, you need to know the system, im believe even in track, you can make those adjustments as the manager of the tournament, I remember early with Baumspage, it would not adjust brackets correctly at times with byes...
