Understandable that they had to raise prices during COVID to make up for the loss, but I think it's well known that the OHSAA has lined their pockets rather nicely, so IDK why certain prices for certain sports remain high???

Looks like a typical Ignatius roster...solid returning guys/veterans and a good mix of young players. Going off of my last point, I think the usual contenders will appear around the mid-December mark.

I'd give it until mid-December to see which teams are contenders/pretenders

I'm genuinely curious to know what the mindset of every other D1 school in the area and state knowing that if they want to win a state championship, they'll have to go through Ignatius, who has won six straight titles???

Interesting...I would chalk that up as a new team trying to get used to each other and typical early season jitters. No doubt they will get used to each other and become a team that no one wants to see in the playoffs.

Only reason hockey is in Columbus (@ Nationwide) is due to a ridiculously long contract with the Bluejackets I cant begin to tell you the amount of people that want it moved somewhere else due to the second-class treatment for the kids

What if for sports other than football, they meet at a central location and play teams that aren't as close. This way, it minimizes on travel and they get their league games in at the same time.

Outside observer here, but why would OHSAA even ask coaches what they want to do if they aren't even going to listen to them anyways? It sounds like a pipedream for the OHSAA and the coaches association to work together in good faith for the betterment and best interests of the kids they are...
