Yes, Bradley’s schedule is weak and they will be exposed in the playoffs as always. Soft.

    Battle of Pickerington - OCC

If I’m objective, Bradley’s schedule is weak as always. 4 teams with a winning record which includes Davidson and Darby. Not sure I buy those Pastesur strength of schedule rankings. Pick Central schedule at 55 and Bradley at 15 says it all. Central played Wayne, Centerville, North and Gahanna...

    Dublin Coffman 2023

Gahanna has a significant coaching advantage. Gahanna makes half time adjustments better than any team in Central Ohio. The score will be close at halftime then they make adjustments and role the 2nd half.

    Battle of Pickerington - OCC

As always seeding will be a factor. I think Region 3 will come down to Gahanna and one of the Pickerington teams. Nobody is worried about Hilliard Bradley, they play a very weak schedule. I think Pick North has the most upside but their coaching staff is just not good, maybe the worst staff in...

    Dublin Coffman 2023

I would be very surprised if PC wins this game by 21. Groveport is a run based team that tries to eat up the clock and not turn it over. PC needs to establish the run as well. I think this could be a low scoring game but I said that about the North game so what do I know.

    Groveport-Madison @ Pickerington Central

Groveport will show up to play with a chip on their shoulder and they will play physical. They will have some athletes too. PC should be fine as long as they are motivated to play. This isn’t Newark or Central Crossing. The offense needs to avoid negative plays and penalties. I expect a low...

    Battle of Pickerington - OCC

Not sure if this is the reason he isn’t playing but I do know that some transfers can only play the first 5 weeks while others seem to be able to play the full season. North seems to have the transfer loopholes figured out so I would be surprised if that were the case.

    Transfer Question

Player A has some rich parents and should just transfer to private school.

    Officiating, what is happening?

Although I don’t agree with passing in that situation, it’s not the refs job to intervene. Sometimes coaches want to work on something specific or get film on specific players. The ref needs to call what he sees and that’s it.

    Officiating, what is happening?

The crew that did the Pick North/Central game was completely overwhelmed. They looked scared and started to panic. They couldn’t even spot the ball correctly. Several huge game changing calls that were not correct. I think the Pickerington community would be willing to pay extra for qualified...

Article Big Plays by Northridge Overwhelms Covington

Northridge needs a coaching change. They are just content with fielding a team. No initiative to build a winning program. As long as this guy is the coach, they will never win. Cheating the players by not holding coaches accountable.

    Gahanna @ Pick Central

This game was a total embarrassment. Score could have been 70-0. I would not assume PC wins out. Groveport could possibly pull out an upset. The last time Central lost a home game was 2017 to Trotwood Madison 28-19.

I don’t even care about all that. North’s defense was gassed but the refs would call a penalty every 2-3 plays. Refs are never the reason you lose but they definitely impacted the gsme

    Dublin Coffman 2023

PC v PN. Game is too big for this ref crew. Refs have taken over the game and lost control at the same time. Feel bad for the kids.

    Dublin Coffman 2023

Pretty much agree. I think Sebert got injured last week and that will have an impact. When these two teams play, the talent gap tends to get neutralized. There is a ton of pressure on the team that is favored in this matchup because the ramifications of a loss is significant. You also see some...

    Battle of Pickerington - OCC

It looks like North lost their starting Free Safety/Punt Returner and he might have been their long snapper too. He appeared to injure his knee returning a punt late in the UA game. He is a really good player and will be missed. Their Special Teams didn’t look very special before he went down...

    Battle of Pickerington - OCC

Most of the penalties were pre snap. False starts, encroachment. We had a few holding calls. 2 BS unsportsmanlike penalties. All things that can be cleaned up.

    Battle of Pickerington - OCC

I hear people complaining about this years team, and I just shake my head. PC had to replace 40+ Seniors which includes 18 starters. They have 1 returning starter on the O-Line and had to replace a 3 year starting Center. Most of this years team are first year starters. The 2022 & 2023 classes...

    Battle of Pickerington - OCC

A few stats that stand out to me: -Penalties: 17-120 -3rd Down Conversion: 0-9 -4th Down Conversion: 1-3 -If you remove the Centerville QB rushing -42 yards, they averaged about 5 yards/carry -The offense only scored 10 points which included a 43 yard field goal

I too went to the game in Centerville. I’ve been to almost every Tiger game for the past 20 years. Not sure what I saw on the field tonight but it wasn’t PC Tiger football. I haven’t looked at the stats but it felt like a very on sided game. Nobody is going to feel sorry for us nor should they...
