    WK13 Massillon (10-2) vs Teays Valley (8-4)

Yep they totally smoked our JV. Oh wait, they actually canceled the jv series after getting annihilated the last several years in a row

    WK13 Massillon (10-2) vs Teays Valley (8-4)

He may not be as fast right now but he’s also like 210lbs whereas DaOne was about 190 last year. Given another offseason in the weight room I think he will be plenty fast enough.

    WK13 Massillon (10-2) vs Teays Valley (8-4)

The idea that gathering as a community to support the youth participating in their endeavors would ever be seen as negative seems to be a microcosm of the decline in our society. Let’s make taking pride in one’s community and supporting the kids a norm rather than something to be ridiculed.

    WK13 Massillon (10-2) vs Teays Valley (8-4)

They have to make the cutoff somewhere geographically. There aren’t enough Columbus D2s to make their own region so they have to pull from NEO. This isn’t complicated stuff. But yeah let’s go with the “the ohsaa is going out of their way to give Massillon a clear path to the final four every...

    WK13 Massillon (10-2) vs Teays Valley (8-4)

Logic would suggest that if the ohsaa aligned regions for monetary purposes they would put Massillon, Hoban, Walsh, the D2 fed teams, Warren, and Fitch all together…thus ensuring a bunch of high dollar games every year.

    WK13 Massillon (10-2) vs Teays Valley (8-4)

Regions are assigned by geography and number of schools. If the ohsaa wanted to milk Massillon for money and was arbitrarily assigning teams to regions we would absolutely be in R5 to ensure the big gate matchups in regional play.

    WK13 Massillon (10-2) vs Teays Valley (8-4)

How bout just go support the team and enjoy the few months of football we get rather than constantly complaining about everything. Nobody controls which region they are in. Plenty of teams around the state are blowing through their regions but I don’t see their fans complaining every day about...

    WK13 Massillon (10-2) vs Teays Valley (8-4)

It is definitely advantageous that we have the ability to rest multiple starters as they come back from injury.

They were throwing flags for everything tonight. Totally ridiculous display by the refs.

I also noticed this when it happened and was pleasantly surprised to say the least.

WK 11 Licking Heights (4-6) vs Massillon (8-2)

I would hardly call those Iggy teams finesse. Also, their top career passers don’t touch Massillon’s when it comes to yards and TDs and Massillon has rarely ever been a pass happy team.

WK 11 Licking Heights (4-6) vs Massillon (8-2)

It’s not even just that. Pass heavy finesse teams just aren’t built to win it all in Ohio. Look at all those great Mentor teams that fell short

WK 11 Licking Heights (4-6) vs Massillon (8-2)

I never trust a team that plays that style to be able to win late in the season against legitimate teams

    2024 Massillon Tigers

Offense is a MUCH bigger concern.

WK 11 Licking Heights (4-6) vs Massillon (8-2)

They just don’t have “IT”…always playing down to the level of their competition

WK 11 Licking Heights (4-6) vs Massillon (8-2)

lol…great coaching job so far. Way to get the team ready to play

    WK 10: Massillon (7-2) vs McKinley (6-3)

I thought at the time that Carter shoved him with his left hand I didn’t see a kick in real time or in the video. I also think it was a late hit by the defender. Got toasted and the receiver had clearly caught the ball and was stopping in the back of the endzone then the kid tackles him high and...
