Rough game for Marysville after a pretty remarkable season. Talked to a couple people who live up in that area who said it was fun to see the team do well. Would've loved to see them compete a little better in the game.

The true joke in this is that Hartley is considered "little brother" because well... the school is quite literally smaller :ROFLMAO: little brother gets some punches in from time to time. Although the number of times recently you here "this is the year, the Hawks are loaded" is quite a lot.

I think it would actually be a pretty bold move to hire a HS coach but in all honesty what does Akron have to lose. They're already miserable, might as well hire somebody that is risky with some upside potential.

Suck but unfortunately a part of the game. Hopefully the kid from Granville and DeSales can get better pretty soon. Either way should be a great game this Friday.

Hartley won't be scared at all but a matchup against DeSales with some guys who essentially sat all year and are now finding their grove, is something I can't imagine they would want.

Truthfully the Granville/DeSales games comes down to whether or not the QB is healthy and how much Thompson can go for DeSales. Both teams are strong and can win this game, but those two big time players will be key.

Also a second note, Hartley and Coach Burch live for the defensive struggle games. They play ball control football better than just about anybody. Just ask Sheridan's team last year

Considering London hasn't given up more than 20 all year, I expect the defense to shine Friday night. The real question is will they be able to score enough to win the game. I think it's a good game but Hartley will win just because London won't be able to score enough Hawks 21 London 10

I actually tend to disagree with the idea that you shouldn't be throwing the football. If you are past your 2 deep, still run the offense. If it's 3rd & 12 throw the ball. Just because the other team is God awful doesn't mean you should change the gameplan, just change the kids running the plays...
