It's a shame all these teams have merged, I think the wheelhouse number of kids on a team is right around 25. More than that and then a lot of kids don't get much playing time and development. Eventually you will have maybe 4 "teams' on the west side, and 4 on the east side, maybe mix in a club...

Yea they don't have true #1. They have a few pitchers that can pitch like a # 1 on a given night. Biggs, Aamonn. I don't think curliss has started any games this year and has a few saves. They hit pretty well and will win a lot of shoot-out type games. May see some 12-10 like games.

Well, they have won 5 straight so that's what you predicted they would win the whole season. Centerville is really good; Moe won't lose more than 3 or 4 games all year and are the favorite to win state. The talawanda game was an outlier. It's a young team.

The expectations for Elder baseball are always high and they should be. I believe it's the winningest program in the state, along with 8 or 9 state titles. They will right the ship.

If you are talking present as this two-week period, then yes, they are down. They played for the state title 3 years ago and had about 6-7 guys from last years team to play college ball. They will be fine....

I saw in 2016 and 2017 they were 14-16 and 13-14. Maybe the two worst years in the history of the program..... right around 500. I think they still have the most wins of any D1 school in Ohio.

When did Elder have a losing season in baseball, much less back to back seasons?

Wow. I don't ever remember an Elder team losing by 17 runs??? Is that the worst defeat since Thompson has been there? Moe is loaded this year and will be tough to beat. It's early in the season and you can only improve from here on out.

Sounds like Miami does so that matters a lot more than your opinion. He has the size and intangibles to play D1 TE. Elder has a long line of D1 TE's as well, congratulations.

Props to Elder Basketball. Great coaching. Great season. I think thats' Three 20 win seasons in a row? All with home grown feeder kids. If they make a few ft's, Moe doesn't throw in a fluke half court shot the game goes in a different direction.....
