I only saw Mayfield’s 2 wins are against winless teams but they are division 2 as you said, hard to say really.

I’m well aware, I’ve been keeping a close eye on Struthers this year.

To be fair that schedule so far looks pretty insane. I reckon Mooney could finish with 3 or 4 wins. Maybe they’ll battle to try and sneak in to the huge 16 team playoff format. Not that Mooney would compete for the region even if you ignored that little Glenville team hiding in there.

Agree completely on Poland/Hubbard, such a tough one to call. I’m going to lean Poland, I think coming off of a close loss to Canfield will have them a little more battle tested than what Hubbard has seen so far. Previously I considered Struthers the favorite to take the conference this year...

Looks like Canfield defeated Poland 17-10. Hubbard keeps rolling but still yet to play anybody with a serious pulse. Hubbard has a bad Beaver Local team left to play yet. Talk about a tale of two halves, Struthers takes it 28-21.

Struthers has come alive and Girard’s defense is starting to look more porous as it has in the past. All tied up at 21 with the 3rd quarter winding down.

Negative

Struthers has made some good offensive adjustments. The question will be can their defense lockdown Girard because I don’t think they can afford to let Girard add to that 21.

Girard is outplaying them and Struthers offense seems lost without Dukes. It’s still surprising after seeing Girard get beat up last week and Jefferson hanging around with Girard. I just thought Struthers was going to be on a different level.

This version of Struthers is not winning the NE8. Struthers better wake up fast because I don’t think they can afford a much larger hole with the way it’s looked.

Girard’s defense probably won’t put up much of a fight and a long pass play sounds kind of flukey but we’ll see.

Feels about right, there’s a few that jump out at me. That Lakeview record ouch, they will probably double that win total from this year alone. I would have assumed Girard and Struthers to have slightly higher win percentages.

I thought Howland would hang a little tougher with Hubbard. Maybe Hubbard has made a little more of a jump than I expected.
