Borland was incredibly overrated imo. SW OH was stacked at LB those years, many playing on Sunday. Who plays football their entire life and is suddenly scared to make contact with another player? He tactically got out before a lot of people would be let down.

Agreed. Frank was either #1 or #2 best CB in Fenwick history. An argument could be made that Hooks is #1, but we never got to see his full potential from moving to QB Sr. yr. Sucks for whoever the Sr. DB was that lost a starting spot just for him to move to Qb next season.
