1969 Steubenville Big Red vs Massillon Tigers

Thanks. Is there a list of state championships from the INS? We do count the Tigers‘ UPI title from 1961. That also was a year when the Tigers were named national champions by the NSNS.

1969 Steubenville Big Red vs Massillon Tigers

What was INS? The OHSAA website doesn’t mention it. Go to the OHSAA Football History section, then to the “Early Ohio High School State Football Championships.” Go to the History Section of the Massillon website, then to the Season Reviews, then to 1943.

D II State Semifinal: Massillon 14-0 vs Cincinnati Anderson 13-1

Your 2006 state championship game at PBTS had 11,065 in attendance. A very good crowd. As you know, your opponent was Louisville, a Stark County school. That certainly increased attendance.

I edited my post #66. During the years, 1972-1979, there weren’t regional championship games. All teams automatically were regional champions.🤷🏻‍♂️ That was my point.
