Welp this aged poorly. I know this should be a thorough process to find someone who’s in it for the long haul (5+ years), but it seems by now they would know their final candidate considering rumors of them knowing their top two a week ago. This isn’t the NFL where you need to wait days on end...

    St. Xavier Football 2023

I think several fans/parents probably did reach out to complain all the travel this season. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the setup for a Centerville series was motivated by the intrigue of Chase Herbstreit, who at that point would be a senior QB with surely some D1 interest, play his fathers...

If I had to guess, they’ll find their guy by the end of February.

    2023 Football

Sorry for spamming, but we’ve got two more additions to signing day. Alec Weeder, RB, has committed to Ohio Dominican and Ryan Mechley, WR, has committed to Mercyhurst. That makes 17 commits in the class of 2023, one of, if not the highest number of seniors playing college ball in Moeller history.

I also think I should mention that junior TE Eli Jacon-Duffy has started to see his recruitment pick up with offers from Akron, Kent State, Bucknell, and Eastern Michigan. With the way it’s starting off for him, we might see yet another Power 5 player in the already star studded class of 2024...

Congrats to the next slate of seniors who will be signing to play college football tomorrow. With tomorrows crop as well as the group from December, this makes 15 total seniors playing collegiate ball. 11 D1 commits, 4 FBS, 3 D2, and 1 D3. Cap Davis (CB): Committed to Brown Ethan Sweat (LB)...

The OPSWA Division 1 All Ohio Football Team with several Moeller players being honored. First and foremost, Jordan Marshall, Jr. RB, was named co-offensive player of the year for all of Division 1. Congrats Jordan!!!! Here’s the rest of the selections: 1st Team: Marshall (RB), Brandon Martin...

    2023 Football

Micah Rice, a class of 2025 FS, has transferred from Archbishop Hoban to Big Moe. This is a great development as Rice has been a starter for a very successful Hoban team all season as just a sophomore. It may be D2, but they’ve played plenty of big time opponents that Moe also played this season...

    2023 Football

Thought I’d get some conversation going into next season. Lots of questions surrounding this squad. How will the team adjust after losing a senior class that had a lot of starters and key contributors? Will Ponatowski stick to baseball and not return as starting QB? If he does return, could...

Division I Semifinal: St Edward (13-1) vs Gahanna Lincoln (13-1)

I think it’ll be a more competitive game than most expect. Lincoln could really give fits and will play feisty enough, even though I still see St Eds winning by a couple scores. St Eds defense will play a more dominant second half after maybe giving up an early score to Hubbard. At that point...

    2022 Football

I wasn’t unable to attend or watch the game. Could someone inform me how early they were pulling starters? It looked like from the box score stats, that Dunn and Marshall were pulled out after the first quarter based off their touches.

    2022 Football

As far as the game on Friday, I get that some might have their doubts about this teams consistency especially at the QB position. But I think this coaching staff has shown and will show that they’re capable of getting their players mentally ready for the rigors of division 1 Ohio playoffs...

    Week 11: Fairfield

I think these two teams are built very similar to one another with each wanting to run the ball and chew up clock. However, I give the edge to X since I think they’ll be more ready and prepared on defense after going through the gauntlet they’ve had all season. I’m sure they’ll bend a few...

    Week 5: The Evil Empire

Moeller wins 42-24. X’s offense has gotten better, but I don’t think their defense is prepared for all the different plays Moeller dials up to their playmakers
