SR does lose a lot. Also have a lot returning. I think it’ll be a 3 or 4 team race, with Struthers, South Range and Girard. And possibly Hubbard or Poland. Struthers is the favorite, though.

East Liverpool would’ve been a better opponent in week 8. Especially with Cusick taking over. But maybe they weren’t interested. It’s still the most challenging schedule Struthers has had since the mid 2000s.

Is it? I always thought that Poland, Lakeview and Hubbard had pretty good soccer programs. Girard not terrible, either. But I really don’t know. Does Howland play in the AAC for soccer? Boardman, Fitch, Canfield, etc. That’s a stronger conference. But I still don’t think the NE8 is a bad fit.

The question isn’t whether or not the EBC is a better fit. for whatever reason(s), BL said no to the EBC. The question is whether or not it makes sense for them to join, and are they a fit for, the NE8.
