I'd like to see a young coach come in and given the time to turn the tide, keep the Westlake kids in town it will take a while but can be done. The GLC helps them a lot, but I worry some older coach just wants the pay.

I can't see a public school trying to do this, especially like Stow. They might be botching this hire but they're not that stupid to do something illegal.

Very true, this also presents potentially other issues between the board and union. Usually , these things get hashed out unless someone is asking for the moon

The board and union can always come to an agreement to get past the 10 year contract issue through the union, when there’s a will there’s a way
