DI: Springfield vs St Edward Updates and Game Discussion

Basically, it sounds like Springfield thought they got a first down and their player went out of bounds. The officials stopped the clock to move the chains but started it up again as they said he did not get out of bounds. Springfield sprinted to the line to spike the ball and give it one last chance before half.

Forward progress was stopped in bounds, and he got the first down. Clock would start after the ball was set. I think SHS blew it, and got lucky to get the FG try. Their kicking game hurt them last year too.

SHS can score in a hurry, so this is far from over. I'm interested to see how the SHS defense can hold up if Ed's has another lengthy drive or two, since they're not used to being on the field.

Has #36 for SHS committed yet? He would look awful good as a Bearcat.
