I’m sure you remember when Biden was fighting to push that pipeline through in order to “improve relations with Germany” at the expense of the Ukraine ultimately. It was right after he vowed to shut down our domestic oil production.

It has a lot more to do with immigration being forced on the native Europeans and being labeled as racist nazis if they don’t want to give up their country and culture to immigrants, all while being forced to pay for the whole horrible transition of their homeland into a third-world society.

Ah yes, the good old pre-WWI days that so many on Yappi lived through. You forgot some more recent history that we also long for. For example, I loved the pre-EPA, aerosol can freedom - MAGA.

Leftism is strongest when it is trying to gain power. It's weakness is that once it is in control, everyone finds out that almost none of of it actually works.

The Left stretches their control out with 3 tactics:

1) Everything is fine. We have challenges, but have made great progress. Most citizen complaints are a result of misinformation and misperception.

2) We haven't been able to fully implement our policies yet. We need more time to go further, but utopia is right around the corner.

3) If it weren't for those people over there opposing us, we would have already achieved utopia. You have to stick with us because those people who oppose us are stupid and evil.

Sound familiar? Lol.

Leftism is soul-less in that it steals prosperity, ambition, freedom, responsibility, self-reliance, hope, purpose, imagination, wonderment, and meaning from those it governs. At a certain point, no amount of gaslighting rhetoric can hide it.
