They probably got a better opponent? I don't know though. On the Prepgridiron forum, someone jokingly said "Can we get this on ESPN?" in response to another poster copying Mike Dyer's tweet about Elder now playing Beacon Hill.

I admit I know nothing about BHHS, but I do believe these are high schoolers and not post graduates. Anyone complaining about the game should voice their complaints to the board of health and CDC for quarantining healthy kids that caused Elder to lose the game they were supposed to play.

This silly quarantining of healthy kids has to stop. If you're sick stay home, you don't play. Otherwise it should be game on. These cancellations are wrong period.

Funny that Lebanon Closed Schools yesterday until next Wednesday but Sports, including indoor sports are on as Scheduled. What kind of bs is that?

Yeah either laugh or be pissed off! This move also really screws and adds unnecessary stress to Parents. Sally now needs a ride to Volleyball practice at 3pm,WTF!
 
LS lost 58-7 and according to a LS poster, their best linemen got hurt. Feel like it’s safe to say, LS did not benefit from this game at all.
 
I didn’t enjoy this game, I legitimately felt bad for the VA team, but it is what it is. Elder didn’t have a lot of options, especially on late notice.

The starters got some good practice, and the reserves got to play, and it’s very possible, that’s all the PT they’ll get this yr. It’s a win all around, and I bet LS wishes they would’ve played literally anyone else. Meanwhile, Eds has to play at Mentor tomorrow and make the trip to Elder next week. That’s a big advantage for Elder.

Pboy is a ? that knows nothing about competitive athletics. He is also a sore loser. Bet you a dollar he has a complete meltdown if Elder loses next Saturday.

It’s not my fault you guys can’t grasp the concept of risk mgt. would you have rather swapped places with LS? Just . The next 4 weeks are going to more than enough to challenge this team.
 
I'm with Omar. This game was perfectly fine. Elder will be fresh and ready for St. Ed's. Sure I would have loved to have seen Elder play a better opponent, but the side benefit is Elder being fresh for Ed's. St. Edward has a tough game Saturday. All odds in Elder's favor for another magical Saturday afternoon at the PIT. It's odd to me Elder plays so well on the Saturday afternoon games, but they do.

Another Oak Hills alum addicted to the Elder forum? How many are we up to? It's amazing how many "non" Elder grads are obsessed with Elder.
 
You guys can make fun of me all you want, I own up to it. But I’m not changing my stance, this was a net positive for Elder. You could tell based on body language, certain players still weren’t 100% recovered from the PC game.

The people giving you grief are Oak Hills alums. That tells you everything. Oak Hills won't even play Elder.

i am an oak hills grad who supports elder. i am allowed to support both i think. i have many family, friends who went to, coached or played at elder. pboy and i get a long just fine. he made one mistake with me, and thats in the past. if we disagree we go to pm's. i know he didn't think anything of me asking if the eds game was where he lost his stuff.

only people giving him grief are smarty and trey. not sure of their high school affiliations. but there are plenty of elder grads/posters that pile on pboy like its their business.
