Here we go again! After some fast District swims last weekend, it looks like we are primed for a very fast state competition in Canton! I am looking forward to seeing the St. X relays break all three state records. Also very excited to see Grant House, Justin Grender, Luke Soblewski, and David Madej perform in their individual events. There are some real studs at the Division-I and Division-II level this year. Can't wait!

Event Winners Predictions

Here are my predictions for Men's D1 event winners based on psyche sheet and knowledge regarding suits/taper/rest etc. :

200 Medley Relay - St. Xavier
200 Freestyle - Grant House
200 IM - Nicholas Perera
50 Free - David Madej
100 Fly - Luke Sobolewski
100 Free - David Madej (This one may be the race of the meet w/ Grender)
500 Free - Grant House
200 Free Relay - St. Xavier
100 Back - Luke Sobolewski
100 Breastroke - Jason Matthews
400 Free Relay - St. Xavier

What do you think? Any sleepers that I'm missing? Which state records will be broken?

Hard to disagree with any of your picks. The only one that might be wrong would be 50 since the start is so important, 100 free as you said and the IM where there maybe 4 with in 1 sec of each other.

All the others would be a big surprise if your pick doesn't win. I expect St. X to get at least 4 state records this weekend. 200, 500, Medley Relay and 400. Could also add the 200 Free relay.

Girls Predictions

Does anyone care to post some girls predictions? I am not as familiar with the talent on the female side. I do expect Cora Dupree of Mariemont to run away with the 100 free. She was very impressive at the Southwest Classic earlier in the season.

Live Stream

Does anyone know if there is a live stream available for the meet this weekend? If so, can you post the link please?

I know the broadcast is aired after the meet is over, but I am looking for a real time feed.

Agree kudos to Ignatius. X was spectacular. No one competitive with them. Wonder how long it will be before they top their own score. Heard that SC's backstroke & flyer was sick at finals. Wonder if that's what caused him to go up in time. If so, that probably cost SC the runner up trophy. But Ignatius certainly had a great meet when it counted.
