Jones is going to St. X

He will play Football and Wrestler there. The kids has been working hard all these years.

I remember he beat Gunner Lay at the Grade School States in
4th or 5th Grade. Wow how time flies.

He will join Heyob and Gordan at St. X . both wrestled for us at ECCW and both are awesome kids.

Elder has a great program under Coach McCoy. 2 state finalist in the upper weights this past year only seems like a great fit for Myers. Tanner Miller has family from Nelsonville-York uncle Steve Young 2006 State Runner-up wrestled at N-Y. however my guess is he stays at Lancaster he has always been their. Dakota Mays will be the 103 or whatever the weight the NHF comes up with next year for Nelsonville-York. We hope to crack the top 30 next year as a team. N-Y has everybody back.

Here is a link to a picture from the JH state finals. You can see Hancock's dad wearing his Troy Christian shirt. His brother Zac is there too (2 time state champ, 3 time finalist, 4 time placer for Troy Christian).

MAYBE, this will help settle the controversy Boro Fan is wanting to stir up????

I always like when a kid stays at his local high school to wrestle and go high school with his friends he has grown up with and be in and around the area where he has grown up. However for the sake of Matthew Kolodzik's wrestling career I hope he goes to a wrestling school in D1 or D2 where he can get good competition everyday in the wrestling room and wrestle an elite schedule. Now Daniel certainly proved that you can go to Miami Valley and have succes and go on to college, so I completely understand if he does just stay at home.

As a "one man" team, per OHSAA policy, Daniel Kolodzik had the opportunity to practice wherever he liked (I saw him at Graham on dozens of occasions) AND he wrestled a noteworthy schedule (presumably of the Kolodzik family's making).

Unless the OHSAA has changed their policy, I would contend he has a better opportunity to practice with good competition and wrestle an elite schedule
than most D1 or D2 programs. His parents just need to be willing to drive until he gets his OL and map out a schedule that prepares him for State.

Matt Kolodzik and Austin Assad, that's if they're not in the same weight and division which as of now they will be.

Wouldn't hate seeing a Kolodzik vs Tomasello finals match at States next year at 112. It would be a barnburner.
