Heard Mooney was week 3 and that we were scheduling Inkster again.
With all of the hoopla over this senior class from the time they were freshmen, would anything less than a state championship be a disappointment?
no but a good playoff run should be expected. if you paid attention to this past year there is no clear cut winner or projected winner. ask moeller. must get there and play well thats whats expected. to be honest they should have one of top olines in state. last years oline was a let down. seniors really just never got better they had better junior years than last. team has allot of seasoned players. there are allot of seniors who have been playing varsity since they were sophomores. things have settled and there is now some stability. we will see what happens.
based on what. this years team will be considerably better than last years team. reality is that this is the most talented senior class going back three years and for at least the next two. there are several seniors who has had allot of varsity time in the past two to three years. there is several good players on defense and offense. both the d-line is looking good and the o-line is looking very good. we will see but the core players are there. there are a few potential 1st team all Ohio players also with big time scholarships attached if they put in a good year.
Are there any Eds grads doing well in college football? I am watching the Iowa game and I thought someone from Eds went there a couple years ago but I didn't see anyone on their roster. I also thought a guy went to Pitt but couldn't find anyone there either.
UPDATE: I did see that Nate Oliver may get a lot of playing time next your at OSU.
Possibly as an interior lineman, not tackle. He stepped into a starting role as a freshman following an injury to the starting guard and went on to start ever since then, only missing a few games as a sophomore due to injury. So he definitely has a lot of experience. Played right guard, left guard, and right tackle. I imagine he will participate in the Senior Bowl.
