Every needs to calm down. Im sure the new stadium is going to be a great place to watch football. The NFL doesn't want to take PR hits if they can help it. It is in there best interest to make the HOF A great venue for football.

There is the game, enshrinement, the concert for legends, and other possible week through the weekend activities that will satisfy that 'empty feeling' you may have about filling those lodges if they materialize.

I'm all for progress and hope that HOF VILLAGE will benefit this area. I just hope that the stadium will continue to be used for high school football which Fawcett Stadium was originally built for.

If loges are built its for one and only one reason... Because the NFL ain't paying for any of it and they can sell them for any price and make a profit.

If the NFL was really paying for any of it you wouldn't see and open ended budget and a hard timetable.

NFL has nothing to lose. Current TV deal pays them 10s of millions every year for this game and until 2024 they get paid on that deal no matter where the HOF game is played or even if it cancelled.

NFL TV contracts are no joke and lay heavy in the favor of the NFL.

(For example, When the lockout was going on, Directv still was required to pay $500mil NFL for the Sunday Ticket even if they never played a down that season. Been that way in every NFL TV deal since 2004)

Weird looking but not surprising as those upper seats are their own structure and about 40 years newer. Personally, I think that extension really uglied-up the north stand facade.

That is the most amazing web cam for construction I have seen.

I wonder if it will be running during games.

Yeah, most construction cams are a still photo taken once a minute or so. Not a live HD video feed.

I like that more and more of these stationary camera feeds are streaming. The old style of single shots was annoying. We use this cam to check the wave situation on Lake Erie:
http://www.bayboatclub.org/dock-cam/

The old camera system made it difficult to gauge the wave heights sometimes

Sorry if this was already discussed but does anyone know if they are selling any pieces of the stadium for souvenirs like they did when the Fieldhouse got a new floor?

Be careful with such a clear webcam... I mean, once the stands are down and you have a full view of the HOF the bigwigs at the NFL may like the view too much.

Just joking around here.

The NFL is separate from the HOF. They are obviously tied together but the NFL isn't doing this project to benefit them. The HOF is trying to raise the money and make money.

We should temporarily rename the stadium "Stambaugh".

I have mixed feelings. It is very sad to see the old stadium go, as it was an area landmark and has a lot of history. The new stadium is essentially going to be a mini NFL stadium with all the bells and whistles though I don't think the new one will be a "high school stadium" the way the old one was. It will just be a stadium that a high school uses.

I think the whole deal is going to be great, I think there are advantages and opportunities we haven't even realized yet.

I feel the stadium needed some major upgrades in many areas and instead of a patchwork deal - a new plan is being constructed.

excited and anxious to see the phases of the project and confident the stadium will be first class.
