Week 4: Holland Springfield (3-0) @ Perrysburg (3-0)

Thinking about going to this one. Does Springfield have a chance or is this a blowout?

I think Perrysburg wins by two TD's. They make you play mistake-free football to beat them. Is Springfield ready for that yet? I don't know. Maybe they are, but I'm thinking the Yellow Jackets keep their grip on the NLL. They have built a great program.

I think it will be a close game. Springfield has the athleticism to beat Perrysburg and it seems as if they are using it wisely this year. Since it's at Perrysburg I'll take them by 3. I think a lot of people are putting too much stock in the Whitmer win. I think Whitmer will lose several games in the TRAC.

These are two really good teams. I think Perrysburg wins in a close, high-scoring contest.

Not at all. Whitmer couldn't contain Perrysburgs small receivers Lima Seniors will have a field day.

As bad as Whitmer looked, which was possibly the most embarrassing half they played in the last 8 years, I don't think Limas coaches will have the game plan and play calling Perryburg did. Even if Lima is more athletic, they are much more predictable than PBurg was. I thought PBurg wasn't going to be as good this season, I was wrong. If Springfield is gonna make this a game, it's gotta be a shoot out.

I don't see a shootout at all. In fact I see some massive ball control offense. Woody Hayes will be a happy camper this week.

Perrysburg has a huge size advantage in the trenches.

I don't think Whitmer was properly prepared for Perrysbug's 5 wide sets. Lima will be totally different for them. After watching that game, I believe Perrysburg is going to be very difficult to beat this year. They are solid all around. My predictions are Perrysburg and Whitmer win this week.

Springfield's offense is really good, but I don't think they have the defense to stay with Perrysburg for 4 quarters. Maybe it will be close at the half with Perrysburg up 7-10 points, but in the end I expect a 45–28 type game.

I think that people are underestimating the speed and athleticism of Springfield. Just like last year against Nordonia, Perrysburg has too many two way players for this not too be a close game. If the game remains at a fast pace it will be very close. If they slow it down then Perrysburg will prevail.

I've watched them both play this year and you are right about the size advantage. Springfield is very small on both sides of the line. They have a very good receiver with Hicks and their QB is very poised in the pocket.

I think it will be close in the first half and the Jackets take over in the second half.

The problem Perrysburg had with Nordonia was the depth of speed and athleticism that they had. Springfield does not have anywhere close to the amount of depth that Nordonia had at the skill positions.

sound like a case of stamina? To be expected giving P-Burg's experience at big games. Springfield can hold it together for a few years, they'll be in the same place.

I don't know if it was as much stamina as gameplan and being over matched. You can't expect to hit too many long td passes and Springfield kept trying to throw after their two long td passes to start and ended up with 4ints. I'm surprised Springfield didn't try to run the ball more with the back they have. Their qb was also pretty successful running the ball. Going into halftime I thought Perrysburg would make the better adjustments and they did exactly that.

Equal coaching decisions, how do you think it would have gone? P-Burg still winning comfortably?

After watching the video this one is pretty simple to diagnose. Too many mistakes from Springfield, and the penalty on the long TD run was the back breaker.
