Fremont ross vs Nordonia

Fremont ross has a real good offense, with a defense that gives up alot points. They will have to play great to win the game, nordonia offense and defense is awesome,.nordonia is a 26 point favorite on a neutral field.

Looking at competition levels, I can't justify 26 points. Elyria, Mayfield, Nordonia, don't seem far apart in ability. Fremont has now had a full year with the new staff, they will be in this game.

It is unless they change the way they pair them, Massillon locked up 6th with the win.

This is the toughest region by far...would love to see Nordonia come out alive. Ross doesn't have a chance.

Nordonia will probably stick out the win but they will have their hands full with Avon in week 12.

Wow Fremont Ross gave up 163 points in a three game span at one point this season, giving up 83 to TCC. that's horrible. That's more points than Nordonia gave up all year. In comparison, Nordonia has scored 429 and allowed 114. Fremont Ross has scored 385 but allowed 327.

I don't know a whole lot about Ross, but it seems like their defense is very suspect. If that's the case this is a bad matchup for them.

If the defense is not very good, nordonia will have its way.

I'll go nordonia 42-21.

Nordonia will be the favorite going into this one. Ross has a very high-powered offense but a defense that gives up a lot of points. A look at both teams seasons so far...

Nordonia 36, Mayfield 35
Nordonia 41, Twinsburg 13
Nordonia 55, Parma 0
Nordonia 44, Medina Highland 21*
Nordonia 34, Lodi Cloverleaf 0*
Nordonia 52, Green 0*
Nordonia 52, Copley 19*
Nordonia 40, Tallmadge 7*
Nordonia 34, Richfield Revere 13*
Nordonia 41, Wadsworth 7*
*Denotes Suburban League game

Elyria 28, Ross 19
Ross 35, Maple Heights 22
Ross 42, Sandusky 20
Lima Senior 41, Ross 17*
Toledo Central Catholic 83, Ross 51*
Ross 41, Toledo Whitmer 40*
Ross 49, Oregon Clay 26*
Ross 53, Toledo St. Francis 27*
Ross 41, Findlay 34*
Ross 34, Toledo St. Johns 6*

glad to see the no respect flag from everyone been that way all year, I only hope Nordonia is thinking the same thing. I have to believe if all looks at our schedule as Kieth has posted you will see how tuff the Trac really is. 4 teams in the playoffs. Ross will be ready you can count on that

Tougher brian? How many teams from your schedule have qualified for the playoffs? Answer...THREE, Mayfield, Medina Highland and Wadsworth. Meantime FIVE of the Little Giants opponents are in the postseason, Elyria, Maple Heights, Lima Senior, Toledo Central Catholic and Toledo Whitmer.

And I'd take the TRAC over the Suburban League anytime.

You forgot Tallmadge. We'll see how many are left this time next week.

There hasn't been a true standout team from the TRAC since Whitmer cheated to assemble one. A Suburban team was the champion of our region last year. Two of the teams you note are not TRAC, and three that you note beat Fremont. Curious argument that you pose.

The year after the scandal Whitmer went to the D1 title game and Central won D2.

I did leave of Tallmadge. My error.

Did I say we beat all the playoff teams on our schedule? Did I say that all the playoff teams on our schedule were in the TRAC?

It was just the Alexander kid. The year after that they weren't expected to do much with what was left and they dominated.

Congrat to fremont ross making the playoffs, they can win if nordonia has like 4 turnovers and play bad,Th talent dispatirty between this teams is huge.I am a homer lol, i picked on my team many times and i should not do that.To beat nordonia you have to run the ball and play defense, this will best offense fremont ross will see all year long.

Brian is no more or less a homer than you and what exactly could be wrong with that? Come-on. Have some fun.

You think after all that (over-blown) scrutiny, they snuck one in the year after?

Yes they were legit. It was a good group of kids that deserve the credit for what they accomplished. They're still a good program. Few sustain that level for more than a few years and hopefully they'll build to another run. They're our largest program with the best chance from a region that only has a few DI programs.

Fremont beat Whitmer in a close game and now has more experience with their new system. Not easy changing staffs and improving to a high level in one year.

Nordonia with a high recruit at corner and at wr will be a real puzzle. If Fremont can't win the lines and get their plays off quickly, I think it will be a long day.

Nordonia offensive line averages 63 301 ibs, there defensive line includes a michigan state recruit and thet only give up 3 yards per carry ,in a real good running league. They give up 78 passing yards per game , they average 44 points per game and the starters sat about 9 quarters. They have 3 wr who run a 4.4, and a qb who qb rating is 136 with 36 td 4int.

That's it?

Fortunately Nordonia has the the home field so they might keep the game interesting.
