WELL DONE LANCERS.

They return 2 SFs, 5 other current/previous SPs, 1 SQ and 1 SA. And oh yeah, NR E'lan.

God help the NE if they get another 1-2 State caliber wrestlers in the line up next year.

That's what's happening to La Salle
Lol! I'm sure the NE will be just fine

Tough weekend for returning state champs from Brunswick. Any insight on what happened with Fields?

Everyone went dark after the conso-semis. I can only imagine what's going on up at c-bus. The placement round should be almost over at this point but not a single update from anyone anywhere. So frustrated.

Just a curious question, wonder if Carmany's transfer from Wadsworth to Brecksville was the difference in a 2nd place team trophy?

As the scores sit right now he would need to have scored 14.5 points or more for a flip. Would have to wait for the final team scores and find out how much carmany scored.

Not only Carmany but Tittle who moved to the Carolina's and placed high in their state tourney and McMillan preseason low placer who quit to focus on football. I believe Loparo also delayed by contemplating football only but I could be misinformed on that. The Grizzlies certainly rose through some challenges. Nice work and looking for a couple of cake toppers.

Are you talking about the same coach who didn't let him wrestle over the past month in several matches and Yappi folks complained about all of the forfeits in their lineup? Bottom line is Parent's and the wrestler make the final decision, not the coach. That being said, the kid laid it on the line for the State Tourney but it didn't work out. Many kids have wrestled in this tournament with injuries that required surgery post season. If Healthy, he will dominate and win state the next 2 years.

Depending on what weight he is at, he'll have to go through any combination of Donothan, North, Baughman, Voinivich, Gallagher, Dover, Mouhammed, so good luck with that.

He won't be at the same weight as Donathan and both will win state. Just my opinion. No relationship with either but close to wrestling in the SW and have seem them wrestle up close. In terms of Lasalle, If they get a couple more kids they can win it all. Root is a great coach and even better mat coach.

My son wrestles in college D1 and Root is a better coach than his college coach.

Andonion v. baughman was simply electric. If more matches were like that with both kids opening up, wrestling would have a lot more casual fans. That was tremendous.

I'd say there's a better chance of Heard and Donathan being teammates next year than being at the same weight class.

I'm glad you put that "big school division" qualifier in there, because SPG, in central west Ohio clearly has been the dominant program in all of Ohio for the past 15 years.

Congrats to Eds for another D1 state championship. They are Ohio's crown jewel over the last 40 years. SPG, while the better of the two since the turn of the century, likely will never have the history that Eds has.
