Jared Ball (Darby) again the winner will come from the top half just like last year.Look, alot of people make predictions & I'm making a prediction, just remember I'm predicting Howard to make finals.I know your upset I didn't pick him to win but as I said he will roll thru semis once again. My thoughts are the 2 best #195ers are on the top half jus t like last year, top half semis will be the quasi championship (Ball vs.Thompson).... deal with it,now watch me hit this shot.

A great question only deserves the best answer; hold off the entire state of Ohio, because everyone's coming for ya...... Hamburger Hill baby.

couldn't agree more with you. Last year Perrine and Wright meet in Semi's... Winner came from that top half (Perrine). This year looks like the same type of draw...Don't count Howard out though, he never stops coming at you with that double...

I'm feeling a heavy SW bias here. I mean, I hope you're right. But I think you're underestimating the northern part of the state that's historically deeper.

The easiest way to get a good idea of how northern vs southern matches will go, is to look at events such as Ironman,Brecksville, Maumee Bay and other strong field tournaments and see which geographic areas dominated. Also returning state placers would also be helpful since they represent true competition amongst the entire geography of the state.

That’s seems to be how many of the published rankings are created and probably constitutes the Preponderance of the value assigned to each wrestler with the remains value assigned From head 2 head matches.

I think this is a stretch, but these results would = a title to a school down south.

This will be one of the more fun team races to watch in a while

One thing that can be guaranteed is the Southwest crowd will be sticking around longing than usual to see the team race finish; 220 weight could be in play.

These prediction seem to be slightly slanted towards the southern part of the state. Obviously all are very talented wrestlers so I guess we will all know in the next 5 days. Stay Tuned!!!

[QUOTE=LS2019;7003659]lmao!!!! I think what you meant to say was Shoop dropped to 106 to avoid Byrd[/QUOT

Shupp wrestled 113 all year. To say he dropped to avoid Byrd is speculation being Shupp made it to the finals last year in a tough bracket and Byrd placed 3rd.

No matter what weight class they are at in Columbus, they should be forced to wrestler each other Saturday night after their potential championship matches.

No salt, no bash, just interesting FACTS. Can you tell me how many undefeated wrestlers there are in div1 and who is the only one to stay undefeated? Now if you don't have any interesting facts or data about the state tournament than you shouldn't be on this sight.

I have setup 2 additional pages in an effort to help everyone follow the tournament. These pages are as follows:

jakeswrestling.com/matches_match.php
jakeswrestling.com/matches_mat.php

These pages displays ALL of the matches to wrestled for each session. One page displays the matches by MATCH number. The other displays the matches by MAT number. I placed a link at the top of these pages so you can easily switch between the two. I am not sure how well the wi-fi reception is at the arena however. The pdf pages I have setup only display the matches for each division. I will put a link to these pages on my division pages sometime later. I will adjust these pagess to display the subsequent session's matches after the conclusion of the previous one.
