They can still play club. Most leagues seem to offer their age group.

I'm not sure its club (at least the way I understand Club). There was been interest from a few teams. Considering Pensacola FC, supposedly travel (i think), food, lodging is taken care of Mid May to end of July. College coach is ok with it but not sure kid and parents are, LOL.

I wasn't aware these opportunities existed so just seeing if anyone has done this. Obviously there is much we don't know yet but researching. Thanks for your input.

They exist for women, just like they do for men.

On the men's side, there's PDL and NPSL. On the women's side, it's mainly the WPSL. There have been others, namely the W-League for years. And there's still a few smaller, more regional leagues as well.

They are 100% okay for college players. To clarify some issues that MAY arise though: the leagues are "amateur," but that doesn't mean every team operates that way. Some teams can (and do) pay players. College players can play against paid players, but they cannot play alongside (same team) as paid players. Teams should be pretty clear about how the team is structured, so the issues shouldn't really exist all that much.

For the women, the Cincinnati Sirens exist in the amateur setup. On the men's side, Cincinnati Dutch Lions exist as amateurs. Rose Lavelle played for the Dayton Dutch Lions women's team while she was in college.
