Canada has officially legalized marijuana for all adults

Quote:
Marijuana sales officially began in Canada on Wednesday, making it the first G7 country and the second country in the world after Uruguay to legalize the drug for all adults.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau campaigned on a promise to legalize marijuana, and his Liberal government delivered in the form of Bill C-45, otherwise known as the Cannabis Act.

While Trudeau cast the bill in a public-health lens, saying it would make marijuana more difficult for teenagers to access and erode black-market profits, the global financial community is eagerly looking at Canada to see how legalization plays out.

My guess is that Canada will be brought to its knees by the negro and his satanic jazz music. God help us all once white women start seeking out sexual relations with these types of people. RIP Canada.

On a more serious note, Trump would be smart to look into doing the same before 2020. Talk about guaranteed re-election. There are few things the majority of Americans can agree on these days. Weed legalization is one of them.

Yep. The Republicans are in prime position to steal this issue from the Dems and turn a significant # of young voters and minority voters their way. The only reason they wouldn't would be in fear of pi**ing off the portion of their base that can be best described as scared, old people. But those people aren't going to vote Dem, and they'll be dead soon anyway.

I suspect that's the Trump card (pun intended) that he will play soon after the DNC nominates their candidate. Especially, if Kamala Harris (god help us) is the candidate as she made her name as prosecutor.

Something lost in the media attention on celebrity (Kardashian) and race betrayal (Kanye) is that the administration has had least made prison reform something they are open to talking about. That with drug reform would do more to help minorities then any new programs so far proposed by the Left.

In a not shocking development under the new law Canadians won't be able to drive while high and providing weed to minors can leave you with a hefty fine or jail time.

Facts are coming in .... and the News isn't covering it.

Colorado politicians need to stop pandering and start leading, which means telling the truth about the severely negative consequences of big commercial pot.

... hopes the Colorado Legislature will channel a portion of marijuana proceeds to the Forest Service to help pay for closure and reclamation of cartel operations.

WTF .... We have enough problems with distracted drivers and the idiots sitting still at green traffic lights looking down checking their phones

Legalized Pot .... Looks Like a lot of Trouble

as for the Medical side - too many good things not to look at it and allow Non - THC products

NEO .... there's a reason why it's illegal

It's a Proven Gateway Drug - Black Tar IDK .... Coke and other hard drugs
No Doubt ... ask the Addicts

NarCan once - and now they're Invincible

Ask the Parents that have had children go the wrong way ....starts with Innocent partying and advances further and becomes an opportunity for the path down the wrong way

100% of the time- maybe not - but making it harder for the young children and those 20 somethings that act like children isn't a bad thing

FYI.... ( how bad will it be with POT )
Excessive drinking is responsible for more than 4,300 deaths among underage youth each year, and cost the U.S. $24 billion in economic costs in 2010.

you're not telling them stuff they don't know about. Mostly the Canadian gov is going to be looking at effects on crime and incarceration. The presumption I think, now that it's easy, cheap and free, there won't be that pusher trying to push them onto the more profitable drug. Culture change.

Time will tell.

Once people find out the money to be made in Cannabis stocks it will be legalized in the US. Canadian cannabis stocks have sky rocketed this year. One in particular was Tilray Inc. which initiated an IPO a couple months ago at $17/sh and quickly ran up to $300/sh and now has settled in at $140-$150.

Other stocks have seen record breaking returns. The same will happen in the US once the Fed gets a clue and takes Marijuana off the schedule 1 list and lets the states decide on legalization. There are a lot of medical uses for marijuana still being uncovered.

As for being a gateway drug I have to laugh. Opioid abuse started with the drug companies pushing their pain killers and doctors marching in line as they were being told. Pot will not lead to more addiction, if anything it will alleviate some by offering a safe alternative to lab created drugs.

so ..... this is your Opinion ?

Is there something new going on ... Drug Companies don't write prescriptions and don't force doctors into anything... Weak doctors giving into patients
