heck you couldn't turn WOSN a few weeks ago and not have seen multiple replays of the KNIGHTS games.....

but I did hear a rumor that a few kids left the team last year and open enrolled at Van Wert, who made the playoffs this year....but Kline and Sheets weren't one of them..

Playbook and all and still just narrowly edged them out with a 3 point win?

Stir the pot sir... Keep stirring that pot

IF AP are the ones responsible for voting for the ALL State teams...then yes they ARE a JOKE!!

So congrats to the Massillon Champs, I mean, AP, champs now go prove it on the field.
you can ADD Newark Catholic to that AP champs too...I think Coach JD Graham would admit that now

In all seriousness though, for someone who has more time than me it would be interesting to see in the playoff era how often the top ranked team in the final AP won it all.

I imagine it is more than we think and I would not surprise me if the AP got it right more often over the years due to the exposure everyone gets. We know more about other teams now than we ever did before.

I would call it a push.
Loramie skips out on baseball in the summer for CC, Minster for football.....

Lol. Van Wert could only wish! Hats off to the Cougars for hosting their first (possibly ever) home playoff game.

Hoping to get that rematch Bigkat. Haven't seen much of Minster but a 7-3 record with that schedule is a good accomplishment. Let's get through tomorrow night first and then see where things land!

I wouldn't say Loramie skips out on baseball. They're the current state champion and have won 3 titles in the past 11 years.

Don't think it's likely, but hoping for Mohawk-Calvert regional final. Former league rivals, haven't played since 2013.

This was also without their starting QB who got hurt during the LCC game.

DSJ lost their starting QB in game 1 vs. Toledo Woodward. Our starting TB moved to the QB position and got hurt in the 3rd quarter vs. LCC when the score was 13-10.

Your Jays and Parkway would finish 1 or 2 in many conferences. Just as the power ratings show the same.

How is Lucas only ranked 14th in the AP? Behind teams like Windham (Come on), Ansonia (Please)??? Lucas won their region and had the 5th hardest schedule in D7 and the 3rd most Harbin points in D7. Wow. No respect for the Cubs.
Minster has not lost to a DVII team since December 3, 2016.

Hard to say they are the 8th best team in DVII.

I especially like how Fort Loramie is ranked 4 spots higher with their 1 loss being a 20 point throttling at the hands of Minster in Fort Loramie.

I'm not so sure about 1st or 2nd but we'd certainly not finish in 8th.

I agree. Mister, 7-3 with the hardest schedule in D7, should be ranked #1 until dethroned.
