I remember when Browns fans were super-excited to draft him.

I mean, he did just get traded to the team like a week ago. For his first time playing in a league with totally different rules than we have here in America. You don't really see any NFL QBs getting traded mid season and then starting the next week. Hard to judge a guy playing with a limited playbook and no timing with his receivers. Even at that I think two of those INTs should have been caught by his receivers and went off them and straight to a defender.

Physically? Maybe. Mentally and emotionally? Obviously not.

I agree ... while I really never was a Johnny Football fan ... I really donít understand how many people are revealing in his demise ... I do hope that this kid can get his act together ... I understand that he acted like a spoiled rotten immature brat ... but still, my hope is still that he can pull his crap together, for his sake.

He acted very mature in taking all the blame for his performance after the game. Could've easily said a few of those int's weren't his fault. Or used the excuse he didn't know the playbook yet (legit complaint) but instead he shouldered everything. Let's see if it lasts

Some were. Some weren't. Just about the same reaction Cincinnati fans had all those years ago when they drafted Akili Smith with the 3rd pick overall. Both turned out to be horrible choices. The difference was that Smith didn't present the character issues Manziel displayed as far back as high school. So, as a Browns fan, I consider the Manziel pick more unforgivable than the Bengals choosing Smith, regardless of their respective positions in the first round.

I hope he enjoys some success. Total waste of talent with his pea size brain.
