Lonzo had 10 pts, 8 rbs, 8 asts, 0 to, 4 blks, 3 stls against the 6ers. Pretty dumb when people say he doesn’t belong in the NBA. What rookie offers such depth in contribution?

He has a very high ceiling and will only get a lot better over the next few years. will continue as the Lakers and Ball rise.

His impact on the Lakers is bigger than people think his numbers have been solid night in, night out. The first thing the 6ers head coach mentioned in his 4th quarter interview last nite was "Lonzo is an elite pusher of the ball....!"
He has been far from a disappointment. The only thing he hasn't been able to do is shoot well. There's been many players that came into the league that couldn't shoot his boss is a prime example!

OMG, Lonzo played 38 minutes!!! Of course he's going to put up some stats!! There's a 24 second shot clock and he has the ball in his hands alot!! Between the missed shots for both teams, including free throws, there was 113 missed shots. For someone playing 38 minutes, 8 rebounds would be very much expected. For having the ball in his hands alot, 8 assists would be very much expected, as well as 10 points. Now I will say on the positive side, for playing 38 minutes and having the ball as much as he does 0 turnovers is remarkable.

So I will praise Lonzo Ball for the first time for playing 38 minutes and having 0 turnovers in an NBA game. But his inability to shoot will lower his ceiling considerably. Players that can't shoot don't last long in today's NBA.

You are correct, but he's been a disappointment, you can't argue with that. He's the #2 pick and was expected to be an elite player immediatley. His daddy said he'd be better than Curry, which is laughable. Magic played in an era where there were guards who could not shoot on every team, the game was more inside out back then. Today's game is about outside in, 3 point shooting and spacing. Guys don't even guard Lonzo on the perimeter anymore.

You’ve gone as far as saying he doesn’t belong on an nba court, but he’s a high usage player running the offense on a fairly competitive Laker team that is extremely young.

Lonzo will be in the NBA for years to come. He is a role player at his worst. This is coming from someone who doesn't think he will be elite. However to think he will only be in the league a few years is absurd. Do you think after his rookie contract is up he won't find a roster spot anywhere?

Few years lol I will wager with you he will be on an NBA team after a few a years and will give you whatever odds you want. How long is a "few years" to you? Three or four?

Lonzo is an average athlete at a position with multiple elite athletes ... will struggle when he plays the elite PGs and will be OK vs the other average PGs.

No it isn't especially a guard. This has been pointed out to you a million times, with hard evidence against your statement, and yet you never have a response. You just keep repeating your incorrect, moronic opinion over and over again without backing it.

I guess that means Ben Simmons is going to be out of the league in a couple years? He can't shoot either. This is another moronic take. There are multiple people in todays NBA that can't shoot but are elite at other things and make millions of dollars playing.

Lakers are going to get tired of the Lavar Ball circus and send Lonzo packing. Once he ends up at some dead-end franchise, he will be forever forgotten.

Rondo at that age was a defender that would make people throw things off the bench when the left the floor, though.

Toward the end of the season when teams are fighting for the last playoff spots and the NBA gets real, we'll see what he's made of.

Ah...Taco, I've misjudged you, I wondered when you'd bring up Ben Simmons, from my favorite team, the Sixers.

Big difference. Ben Simmons can get anywhere he wants to on the floor on the dribble, and can finish around the rim. Magic Johnson was this way early in his career. Lonzo has no inside game. LaVar is laughing all the way to the bank as he's hoodwinked the Lakers and many others and got his boy paid. He's not going to have as much luck with the other two.
So what do you do when you're not happy with the current coaches, you pull your kids out of school and got to Lithuania and play pro basketball??? What a joke this guy is.

Question ... which is more likely ... LeMelo & LiAngelo join Lonzo with LA or Lonzo joins the other two in Lithuania?
