National sports media that I have heard are giving little credit to Houston. Holding the Warriors to 12 in the 4th is awesome. Tenacious D always makes the difference, and CP3's 5 3s were huge on a night when other weren't great from outside.

As the #1, the Rockets get 2 of the last three at home. As with the Cavs, game 5 is now huge.

GS probably still wins in 6 but man it'd be sweet if Houston beat them

Kerr sat Curry way too long in the 4th. He got hot in the 3rd and then sat until about the 6 minute mark of the 4th. Harden and Paul basically played the entire 4th knowing the importance to go back to Houston 2-2. GS ran some awful ISO offense in the 4th when the ball movement cutting and passing got them the lead. With 3:40 to go GS had scored 6 points. Absolutely pathetic. Houston definitely picked up the defense, trying to deny the ball and push the offense further towards halfcourt, but GS played right into it with dumb shots and turnovers.

I like GS more than Houston, but I could get behind Paul getting a ring.

Think this probably goes 7 games now.

Golden State when playing their best ball is still damn near unstoppable. It seems though they are having more games and spurts in games of looking like a team that is beatable.

If Houston holds up homecourt and becomes the first team in the series to win consecutive games things could get real interesting.

I would like to see Paul get a ring as well.

They've gotta be thinking "Dude, if we can just somehow beat Golden State two more times, we've got a ring in the bag". There is going to be some seriously intense ball going on, can't wait to watch. These next two or three games are essentially the Finals

I have no love for Paul getting a ring. He was on some very good Clippers teams that choked in the playoffs, even before the Warriors took over the West.

So Durant passes up an opportunity to take the late shot and instead gives it to Thompson, who is closely guarded and misses. And then Curry misses a wide-open 3 in the corner. If that's Lebron, the talking heads are crushing him this morning. And Kerr played those guys too much, Draymond was too tired to even dunk late in the game. But the Warriors are the greatest thing ever, so just move along.

Well, the entire city of Cleveland crapped on James for quiting on the team in the Celtics series his first go around, so.....

Has nothing to do with my statement. Media double standard when it comes to bashing Lebron while slurping the Warriors. Oh well.

I like GS and my head went right to that though. Durant needed to get to the basket or see that they weren't going to allow it and set himself up for a jumpshot. The entire 4th Qtr was pretty selfish ball on the part of the Warriors, but when they did pass to wide open guys shots were missed.
-Curry missed a wide open 3 from the right wing after a Durant pass from the foul line.
-Thompson missed badly on a wide open shot after he got his defender in the air and side-stepped him
-Green missed the dunk with no one around him

Klay's turnaround shot at the end was one of the most difficult shots they took in the 4th so can't really pile on there. Curry's was wide open at the buzzer, but I'm not so sure he got it off anyways. KD is the one who should be getting heat for passing up the shot down 2 with 10 seconds left.

End of the game was somewhat similar to the end of ECF the night before. Boston had chances to get closer than 7 but settled for 3s and missed them. Similarly GS did the same thing while they led and then some more after they lost the lead. Live by the 3, die by the 3 - these four teams left definitely live by that.

With Houston shortening the bench and leaving Ariza and Tucker on the floor 40+ minutes, it really helped the defense. Those 2 are outstanding athletes and defenders. And they can hit the wide open 3. They took 4 shots each, so it naturally leaves more shots for Paul and Harden, which is also good.

Full credit to Houston for the game plan and the effort.

Question is does that catch up with them before this series is up?

I laugh when people make all basketball comparisons on LeBron James.

Great series in the west, the winner wins the finals easily. I think GS wins the next two. Houston shot their wad playing only 7 players, it will catch up. Also look for the Warriors to get to the line alot more. You really wonder if the key guy on the Rockets is not Paul and Harden, it's Eric Gordon. He plays well, they win.

I can't see either East team winning more than 2 games vs either West team and frankly think Boston gets swept by GS.

Much of that game GS looked like they were on route to a 20-ish point win even as late as early 4th qtr not to mention that pathetic start by the Rockets. Then GS had a 12 point 4th quarter and gave the ball to Klay at the end.

Winner tonight takes this series IMHO.

There's a very real possibility that the Warriors don't lose another game this season.

Harden has missed 20 straight 3’s over the last 2 games and the Rockets won both games. It must be nice to have other players step up when you are struggling.

Both series went from routs to both probably going 7. It’s crazy that both “favorites” will have to win on the road in game 7’s. I sure wouldn’t bet against Lebron and Durant in a game 7.

Ratings have been great for the NBA so Emperor Silver ordered a pair of Game 7's.

Really think Houston matches up better for both Cleveland and Boston.

FiveThirtyEight now giving the Cavs a better chance of making the Finals than the Warriors. Houston coming in at a massive 70% to win it all.

I think Cleveland and GS are both overwhelming favorites to win Game 6. If Chris Paul is legitimately hurt then GS should have a decent shot at Game 7; maybe a 50/50 chance. I wouldn't give the Cavs better odds then that to win their series.
