Best softball venues?

Firestone Park is by far and away the best softball venue IMO. Where are your favorite venues for watching or playing softball?

Walsh Jesuit will be building a new softball complex, this includes a new diamond with infield made of field turf.

Marathon Diamonds in Findlay could be nice if they would fix a couple of things.

1. Make the fences for the fields they use for fastpitch acual fences.

2. The backstops are way too deep and need to be shortened by 8 or 10 feet.

No joke, my kid has gone 1st to 3rd on a passed ball there. More than once.

If we're talking anywhere, Chattanooga has to be one of the best softball towns. The Summit and Jack Maddox parks are fastpitch specific parks that are well maintained and high quality. You throw in the quality of teams in the parks and the 300-400 college coaches wandering around and you couldn't ask for a better atmosphere.

I'm surprised we don't see better facilities for softball. The fields are far smaller than baseball fields, so it would be cheaper to construct.

I haven't been to alot of fields but I like the setup at Stow.

Not sure how many high school games they allow but Kent State has a great complex too.
