A couple quick callouts:

- 4 B1G teams in the top 10?!? I get Ohio State and Penn State but not sure UM is top 10 worthy with a ton being replaced on defense. Wiscy might have the schedule to have them in the top 10 but I'm not so sure they have the talent.

- Conversely only 1 SEC school in the top 10 and I'm not sure if LSU is the second choice. Someone from the east has to break through eventually and have a decent season, if Zaire is the answer maybe Florida tops UM in the opener and moves into the top 10?

- A couple dark horses to watch not in the top 25: NC State, Minnesota, and Oregon.

^ - It is the Harbaugh effect. The Wolverines return ONE starter on defense. ONE! They are not Top 10 worthy.

Wisconsin IS in my opinion. They return 6 on offense and 7 on defense from a darn good team from last season.

Washington is not as good as believed and Oklahoma has been the media darling for some time. Riley will do ok this season but will soon falter. Tom Herman will have Texas owning the B12 very soon. USC should be very good. LSU should be good with Guice carrying the load over the overrated Fournette.

Georgia and Auburn could surprise as well.

I would go Washington over USC. Peterson has stacked the Huskies with NFL talent. Even after losing a bunch to the NFL draft, they still have plenty of NFL future high picks on the roster, and they are better coached than USC.

Wisky is legit. They are primed for another great season. Michigan is overrated, but could beat Florida in the opener...which would cement them into the Top Ten.

I think Clemson is way to high. I know they are the defending National Champions, however they lose a ton of talent in offense. Their defense will be great, I just see them losing a few games because of a new QB and running back.

Personally, I would have Louisville above Clemson.

Wisconsin may be legit but once again no one will know or not until they host Michigan. Their schedule is extremely week, with their toughest two games being Michigan at home and Minnesota on the road. If they have more than one loss before the Big Ten title game they are a Fraud.

I wish pre-season polls were treated by everyone as if they were meaningless.

+1. Of course, many people are making lots of money off of the preseason magazines with the polls in them, so they aren't going anywhere. That is for sure.

I can't believe anyone takes any poll seriously until at least week 3 or week 4.
