Okay, here is how I see it.

Manchester Administration: The sky is falling we cannot compete with Orrville and Northwest we need to find a new league.

Manchester Fan: It will be fun to restore the rivalries with Orrville and Northwest.

Orrville Fan: Glad to be out of a league where we were the smallest school by several hundred. It will take a little time to rebuild but we will eventually return to the glory days.

Northwest Fan: It is great that this is our last season of not competing in a league and will be great to return to the local rivalries.

Triway Fan: Bring it on.

Tuslaw Fans: We will keep on celebrating our good years and struggle through the bad as long as we win the Blue Pride Cup. Secretly wish we could build a legacy like Orrville. Northwest is a little big but iron sharpens iron.

Fairless Fans: See Tuslaw fan.

CVCA fans: Still have a bunch of travel maybe we should look at a closer league.

Tusky Valley Fan: Glad we will not have to travel to the big city any more.

Indian Valley Fan: Lets' roll the PAC one last time before moving to the IVC.

Loudonville Fan: We are going where and doing what next year?

Nice going, and possibly not too far from the truth.

Manchester scrimmages Minerva on Thursday, and then Streetsboro on the 18th. Hopefully, you get through the scrimmages with no significant injuries and get a chance to get everything right before the real games start. We'll find out a lot about Manchester in the first three weeks. They open against Norwayne, which is always a tough opponent. Then in Week Two it's Woodridge. Woodridge has one of the better high school QB's I've seen in a while, and the kid is just a junior. Then it's South Range, another quality opponent in Week Three. For people calling for an upgrade to Manchester's schedule, they got it.

Orrville scrimmages Waterloo this Saturday @ 10 am at home. Their scrimmage yesterday against Chippewa wasn't bad for the first time out according to the coach I talked to. He said we will need to get better up front defensively, but we also played very vanilla on both sides of the ball as most teams do, so we will implement a few more things for Saturday.

Old Rider...that is encouraging. I bet the defensive coordinator will get the front fixed up.

Need to build on an okay performance. That is a starting point.

I believe that Saturday is the next chance to take a step in the right direction. Will all be a go? Anything going on?

I saw that Hershberger was back in practice yesterday. He was out a few days and didn't scrimmage on Tuesday due to a groin injury that he has dealt with every year. Everyone else is healthy from what I was told. I think we will look even better on Saturday.

Manchester scored twice, once on ground and once by pass. Defense looked pretty decent not allowing Minerva to score.

Nice. Manchester has had trouble on defense the past two seasons. Hopefully they have a better handle on that. I have a good feeling about this Manchester team.

Thought Orrville looked okay on Saturday. Injuries already playing a role on the team. Looked like the older Domer already banged up with should I am guessing. I can't imagine he will make it through much if any of the season. He has some talent just can't stay healthy.

Defensive front still needs a lot of work. Waterloo was able to run at will on the Riders. I have no idea if Waterloo is a solid team or not but we did seem to move the ball on them. It is going to be interesting...

Waterloo is not a very good football team. Orrville had some starters out but I thought the D could have played better. They did not fly around and lacked intensity. I thought The O line had a decent scrimmage. The backs were able to bounce outside and get some yards. That being said, Waterloo is not very good.

Week one. We need to stay healthy. Then go from there.

I was trying to be nice...I agree with you though.

Staying healthy is going to be a huge challenge....

Dalton Earich started at QB. I thought we looked much more sound on defense, and the o line played very well, we ran at will on them, that being said, they've only won 3 or 4 games the last couple years. Should get a much better idea of where the team stands after this thursday vs. streetsboro.
