Question CB number for Kenmore-Garfield?

What is the correct enrollment number (actual plus adjustment) for the HS for football? I thought it was 900+ but OHSAA has it at 450 or so.

It is 444. What made you think it was 900+?

Neither Kenmore or Garfield were very big, both were averaging around 600-700 students. The 444 number sort of makes sense. Although the number does seem a bit low, I figured it should be at least 500. Coventry's open enrollment hasn't increased, so I'm not sure what would account for the extra 50 or so students disappearing. Maybe they expanded Buchtel, and Easts zones into Kenmore or Garfield areas to ease the burden of combining high schools?

1)My bad. When typing I was thinking of the combined West Clermont which does have 900+ boys.
2)Using the numbers on the OHSAA website Garfield had 322 boys and Kenmore 213. Combined (before CB adjustment) of 535 boys. Where did the 90 boys go?

That's what I'm trying to figure out.

Were these actual numbers of boys in grades 10-12? When a school combines, that is usually how they do it.

If that's the case, this is very normal in inner city high schools. The actual number of 10-12 kids is far less than the projected number using 9-11 from the previous year. It's an ongoing problem that has never been addressed.
