He routinely has his team completely unprepared and/or is outclassed by better coaches who have less talent to work with.

I also think Haley was not fired for his coaching ... it was more about his personality/relationships ... keeping Big Ben happy is key ... as a Browns fan, I hope this means a little slippage the Steelers ... but I wouldn't bet on it.
Reports yesterday were that Ben was very unhappy that Tomlin let Haley go.

Browns fan here. Stillers fans calling for Tomlin's job is dumb.

Did he bungle the clock management down the stretch? Yep. Couple questionable decisions? Yep. Are there 5 better coaches in the NFL? Nope. Would the 4 better coaches leave their jobs for Pittsburgh? Nope.

The whole team clearly looked past the Jags to New England, and they paid for it.

So what's your point? The only one who said LeBron had nothing to do with the firing of Blatt was Lebron. The report I saw yesterday said that Ben was furious with Tomlin over letting Haley go.

You're so defensive. If you didn't post such stupid things, you wouldn't have to freak out defending yourself

i haven't read anything like that. i read that he said he'd hoped coaching staff stays intact.

i've read that this past season he asked that Fichtner be on the sidelines as a "buffer" between him and Haley during games.

that's very telling.

it comes down to really Haley not being the easiest guy to work with/for.

all Fichtner has to do is get the run game back up to where it should be and let Ben and the rest of the offense do what it's capable of. also, call QB sneaks on 4th and less than 1.

not to be defensive ... but I think Bballer hit it on the head ... that is what I have seen also ... the point is no player wants it to be on them that a coach gets fired ... players say one thing to the press when it is really something else ... it wouldn't be the first time it has happened ... and I get your point, you don't have to tell me three more times!!!!!

Pretty rough when an OC gets canned after his team just put 42 on a team like Jax
