I don't believe he will be there due to injury. I don't know how bad the injury is but I have to believe they will be playing it safe with the injury. I think they are more worried about getting #4 then a ironman title.

Right, let alone making sure he can not make John Smith worried.

If Kurt McHenry goes 113 Lucas and Julian will more than likely be on the same half of the bracket

just from reading social media the injury seemed to be major, and I would agree that the focus for Tommy right now (Oklahoma signed) would be his fourth title, at this point none of it matters and health is the main concern but # 4 is a big deal.

McHenry's Dad mentioned that their team was most likely going to pass on the Ironman as of a month ago!

If you look at the file, St. Paul's (MD) is no longer in the Ironman field, http://walshjesuitironman.com/team-list/
That being said, kids like Trevor Mastrogiovanni (if able to get to that weight) and Antonio Lorenzo will have something to say about a Byrd/Tagg final.

Mastrogiovanni needs to make the lineup at Blair. He couldn't beat out Incontea who placed 3rd at the Ironman while Tag won the championship. He only made the lineup this year because Colsiocco is injured.

With all due respect, you're wrong on that one. Mastrogiovanni could not make 106 last year, he and Colaiocco wrestled off for 113; Colaiocco won it close early, then got injured and Mastrogiovanni kept the spot.
Should Mastrogiovanni be able to make 113 and Colaiocco able to make 120, Incontera will find himself out of the lineup.

285 final should be a doozy. Seth Nevills 3 time Cali Champ and PSU recruit vs Cohlton Schultz, a Cadet Greco World champ.
160 final - David Carr vs Jaden Mattox #3 in the series?
152 final - Will Lewan Cadet World champ vs Anthony Artalona or Connor Brady.
132 final - Joey Silva vs Jordan Decatur or maybe Real Woods

bucksman, normally your good friend Josh puts out a list on the walsh ironman site with all the nationally ranked wrestlers. Is he doing that soon?

Man, some of these weights have land mine(s); 138# already has 9 rank guys and landmines like Andonian, Voinivich, and Heard making that weight interesting if weights hold up.
