Nah Crimson. I was just stating a fact. You guys generally play 7-8 home games a season. If NP were able to do that I'm sure we'd be on that wagon too. I guess I should have put a smiley face at the end of my statement. As for taking "swipes", I'll leave that to you.

Any new info on a potential new home for Dover and Phila???

Dover will increase their win total by 2/3 next season and return to the playoffs.

Whatever that home is, I hope it includes Louisville.

Within the next couple days, the search for a new league for 5 ECOL teams might seem a lot more urgent.

Who's out? Zanesville? Cambridge?

I think west holmes should try to get in the pac.-7 league that would be agood fit for them, they already play Triway,Orrville, Fairless,Tuslaw, it would go back to the old all ohio league when they were in it.size wise they would about third largest school in the league, west holmes may be a big school by number wise, but conpetition wise they would be a good fit, the occ is not a good fit for them and most of the occ schools don't want them in anyways

yet another "tweener" at D3

Doubt the Pac ever comes callin for a D3 when that league seems to be shaping up as a D5 league.

I have a dead horse I like to beat bout Dover Philly West Holmes Louisville and CCC getting together

hey it isn't pretty but it is a start - find one more and it is a viable solution to the final 5 games of a football schedule. Doesn't tie a school into a ton of league games for basketball or baseball where a school can fill up with local teams.

My guess is any 3 of these: Cambridge, Meadowbrook, Coshocton or River View

still blows my mind how they can just give up and move on..I guess things change over time and you always need to re-evaluate. I keep hearing it's Coshocton, River View and Meadowbrook moving on. Why would MVL be interested in RV again? Can't believe that RV would want it either, especially if they are in larger division. They would only participate in ECOL in small division.

Sorry Bobcat. There is still a chance. If any of the 3 back out, the Cats are in.

I'd like to be the first to welcome the new members. 2 divisions should give a lot more teams a (realistic) chance to win a title in the MVL. Small school have not fared well the last 5 years or so. Always at the bottom of the league in virtually every sport.

I'm in favor of keeping the ECOL and not going to MVL anyway but I would also rather not be left in the cold if it folds. We are the last of the charter members now.

Agreed Journey..some fun times for sure.

I can't believe that River View would accept going into the larger division since they cried about it in ECOL and still couldn't compete in the ECOL gray division. But I would guess they have the same feelings about being left without a league if they don't jump. Still don't understand why MVL would want them back anyway.

This makes way TOO much sense; which likely means it will never happen. But those would be good games. As another suggestion, any discussion of scheduling Athens?

Louisville does make sense but they can't find anymore pieces to the puzzle. Dover, phila,Louisville and ??? Athens is about a 3 hour drive, don't see that happening.

The pieces are there to get to 6 teams with CCC, Alliance, and Marlington. The only problem is the Aviators and Dukes won’t leave the EBC until it crumbles and they HAVE to leave.

I didn't think it was THAT far to Athens. But I guess when the quickest route probably takes you through West Virginia it's a longer haul than one might think!

Pull some small teams from the Fed. Green, Hoover, Lake, Dover, Phila, Louisville, maybe Wooster. Then give the Fed Massillon. Problems fixed‼️

Those schools are way too far away from Athens. Athens has no problem finding games since we are the center of SEO and 60 minutes from Columbus

I make that trip a lot from Youngstown to Athens. I canít do the trip through Parkersburg to Athens. There is literally nothing between Canton and Marietta. I have to take the Zanesville and down

but there's more from zville to Athens? Come on Raider. But I guess if you consider Shoney's something than you're probably right. We have plenty of good, local eats and some chains. Hope you at least waive as you're passing by.

That is 100 miles of nothing. At least the Zanesville way you go through small towns. Makes the time go by faster and its 20 faster

But reminds me going to Poland Ohio from that area. The fastest is State Route 62

So looks like the MVL is expanding to 12. Meadowbrook, Cambridge, River View, and Coshocton all want in but only 3 will be picked. Sounds like the ECOL is dead

The scarlet division is intact.

No problem with that at all Teach. We can pick up more OVAC games and all is good...at least with us.
