Saturday sometimes, but normally tomorrow. 6 match rule seems to slow up. Not sure why just both kids names the line and scratch after match.

Several losing records from the Centerville sectionals while several tough kids don't make it out of the cincy sectionals. How can SWDAB not see how necessary a super draw is, I don't think they care enough about wrestling to pay attention.

I don't know why but Cincinnati continuously caves to Dayton across all sports when it comes to site placements. I understand schools have to bid and what not but literally all 4 wrestlers at 106 at Centerville 1 qualified. Whereas Hamilton almost had 8 only 2 less than both Centerville sectionals combined. Then add to it, probably the 3 best 106 lbs were at Hamilton too. I am sure it will get settled next weekend but there has to be some simpler ways to balance this. A 30-9 and a 22-12 wrestler are going to be sitting at home when they probably could have been a 2 or 3 seed in another bracket, they may have even won Centerville 1.

Also the 3 best teams at Lebanon had to travel over 45 minutes to wrestle a sectional tournament. Are the southern Cincinnati Schools lacking the facilities to host a wrestling sectional?

Pretty deep district across the weight classes. A couple major late injuries shrunk the congestion at 152 and 285, though 152 is still VERY congested (talking about McIntosh of Harrison and Charette of Centerville, hate to see that type of thing happen).

We'll see what the state qualifier split out is between the Centerville sectionals and the Cinci metro sectionals ... last year it was 42-14 for Cincinnati, the year before it was 39-17 ... it's rather lopsided (should be 28-28 in theory)

When schools like LaSalle, Elder, and Mason gobble up about 10 spots per school, Dayton will have to fight Harrison, Moeller, Fairfield, da Lakotas, and loveland for table scraps.

Norris was right there with Shupp at sectionals and Iíve watched the kid over the years and he always adjusts great so donít be surprised if he beats Shupp, there both top level kids and itís a match that can easily go either way.
And for Mason Kleinberg he is in a bracket that he will have to go through Baird and Chavez and Marlow to place but this is one that I could have switched his name with Marlow bc I had them wrestling in go to match. Then had Chavez beating him for 5th bc itís hard to beat him twice.

It is worth noting that Kleinberg's match with Hoskins at GWOC wasn't even really that close. Kleinberg easily controlled that match. I think you may be underrating him just a tad, but anything can happen. That's the beauty of it.

Not underrating Kleinberg Iíve seen him wrestle heís good but there is a lot of kids at this weight class that I would put on the same level so it will come down to who is donít cutting weight and who is done with the season bc as we all know itís a long one, but your right anything can happen

I don't think they have wrestled but Love beat Weathersby 8-4 where Wiechers beat love 10-4. Now I know that styles differ and that doesn't necessarily mean anything but just for the sake of argument. And Wiechers is 1-1 against Hardrick. I definitely see Wiechers making it out if not winning.

Weicher is 1- 2 against Hardrick; has a 3- 2 win against Thomas, in which Thomas has a 7- 2 win against Weatherby.

We need their ACT scores, bench max and pre-season body weight.
(ACT/Bench x Pre-season weight)=Y. The wrestler with the higher Y value has a 50% chance of beating the wrestler with the lower Y value.
In a similar test done last year 50% of the Yappi posters surveyed felt like they made up almost half of the posters on Yappi.

This is just the results I come up with when going through bracket and making my picks. I mean no disrespect to any coach or wrestler, just wanted to put my picks out there. GOOD LUCK 2 ALL THIS WEEKEND
At least your predictions aren't very biased. I'm sure no coach or wrestler will lose sleep over these.

Might be my favorite post of the year.

Don't be a Big Downer 185, let the people have their fun. This is the best time of year where predictions and speculation run wild and accumulate into back to back to back weekends of wrestling madness.

Weichers record shows he has 2 loses. I know one is to Hardrick at GMVWA and one is to an Indiana kid at the Mason tournament. So, if he is 1-2 against Hardrick, his record is wrong or one of those loses was not during this season.

I see Hardrick making the finals on the top side, with meeting Weathersby in semis, although he has 2 recent loses. On the bottom side, I see Weichers making the finals and meeting Love in semis, with Love or Haehnle getting third(they will potentially meet in the conso-semis and I believe haehnle owns a head to head win this year). Weathersby getting 4th.
A wildcard in my opinion is Marsh. He wrestles very close, low scoring matches, which means he has a chance to win at the end, he could pull an upset along the way and be a bracket buster so to speak.

It would have been fun to have McIntosh in the mix. He was wrestling at a high-level and may have been a slight favorite. I believe he was last ranked 5th by Borofan after Connor Brady was out. Had a number of good wins against state placers and a projected state champ according to Bucksman. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
