Can I be considered for the position? I've been known to be very offensive, at times.

i see two current eds lineman made all combine team at Nike rise camp and i also see one of eds Rb put in a good camp. a couple of underclassmen also made a showing. good to see both lineman who started varsity together young made that all combine Ohio team. doesn't mean everything but it says something. we got some beef on this line. i think there stats on size was large. i think Jackson was 6'3 330 something witch is down from the last years football program listing unless that was inflated. Mogus was 6'5 283 or 4 something like that. both got good comments about there performance. impressive so far compared to the last 4 years.:

Might want to check the espn rise ohio results and all-combine team. Mogus weighed in at 6'5 284...last time i checked thats pretty darn close to 285

Many games get scheduled over the summer, so a 10-game season is still a real possibility.

I hope so, im guessing it would likely have to be another out of state team, doesnt look like there is to many ohio schools with that week open.

cant wait to see how the team will do. expecting better things this year. looking through this years profiles, i see several players are making some early noise. nice!! wondering if eds will get ten games this year. i hate bye weeks. then again with eds schedule this year, bye week might be welcomed. IMO some of the teams that were good last year were loaded with seniors and now its our turn.

Game is set vs inkster on the 18th at 2pm behind the school. Personally i wish it was at Lakewood whether they bring people or not. Better place to watch the game and not cramped up like last year against woodson.

hope they can at least get extra bleachers for end zones and have students use them. maybe get one set of bleachers for inkster fans that come. that could aid in some of the seating problem. is this a home coming game again???

I actually liked the game behind the school although I wished they could have opened up the school to look inside. I bet a lot of alumni would like to see some of their old stomping grounds as well as the new buildings, in particular the chapel and pre-engineering center.

sehs, good ideas. There are always alumni coming back to games and would love to see the improvements that have been made over that past 10 years.

Thanks for the updates. Interesting that they asked Gibson to list the best 3-5 players on the team.

very nice!! looks like gibson and mogus are becoming some big time studs. i believe gibson picked that question. Ive been looking at a lot of profiles in the past months and i think when they set up there profile they have a option on questions for there page. not all choose that question. looking at mogus's profile he looks to be busy. i see he made all combine team at Nike and is attending the next round this sat. after checking the Nike combine site, i also see Jackson made all combine team, so i suspect he will be attending same Nike combine this sat with mogus. although the class of 2011 lost two or three top players from there undefeated freshman team, they still should be strong this year. so far very good start to football this year compared to previous three years.

great news for eds football. looks like eds has one of the top lineman in Ohio and other states. mogus is becoming a beast. thats twice he has competed in the Nike camp, and if not the best one of the best olineman at the camp. i see he beat out brown who committed to osu, and huettal who committed to bowling green. plus after reading some articles on the camp there were some top recruits out of Indiana and other states there competing also. offers should heat up after continual proof of being at top of his game. CONGRATS TO MOGUS FOR MAKING OLINE MVP!!!!! wish football was starting next week! go eds!!!

Congrats to jackson on picking up an offer from Toledo. They like the Ed's guys i guess with him and mogus getting offers from there. Ed's has 3 D-1 lineman with junior Kalis who is a legitimate D-1 prospect as well.

Congrats to these young men. I am sure there will be more offers to follow. I guess there is still no news on offense. Curious to see what direction the Eagles are headed in that area.

I heard and please dont qoute me on this that they might have co-coordinators on offense. To me bad bad news if this is the case, pick a guy and thats it, my guy Gallagher from what i heard didint get it. Again do not quote me on this.

Well, I have to agree with you in the respect that there should be one guy who is the "go to" guy for offense. A school of that caliber not having an offensive coordinator is actually silly. Hopefully the head coach has his say in who is chosen....
