Definitely expected Nato to win, but not by tech. Wow, very impressive performance. Honestly thought Lizak would be able to ride Nato with some success, but that proved to not be true.

McKenna's style beat him there. Two granby 'attempts' stuffed for 8 points. He'll be okay.

Your talking about a 3x Big 10 Champ, and current U.S. National Freestyle team member. I know people may point to the lost to Fix at the U23 qualifier, but he was injured in the match thus reason for the results which he would never use as an excuse. Keep in my he placed 2nd in the Yargin in Russia (consider the toughest tournament in the World outside the World Championship). Point being never a doubt. Lee, Suriano, Cruz...bring em on! My money is NATO!

FWIW I think Nato is going to torch Lizak. Style wise, Nate is way better on his feet and probably isn't getting turned even by someone as good on top as Lizak.

Good call sackerdrag135 on Nato...wow !

Yeah, NATO chose neutral in 2nd, Lizak chose top in 3rd.
NATO hit a beautiful sit and was out rather easy.

Just a slight correction. Tomasello won silver at the 2017 Medved tournament, not the Yarygin.

Not a bad way to stay if you can do it.
Speedy recovery.
