I can't recall anyone getting injured fairly early in the year and, barring a setback, choosing to sit out 4+ games at the end of the year post recovery. That type of thing seems to be limited to injuries dictating very late starts to the season and guys getting banged up opting to sit out meaningless bowl games.

I've always been told that as well. Excessive stretching and stretching "cold" muscles makes you weaker and more prone to injury. I'd have to think that stretching for that long that often would be a negative.

Neopolitan is an unknown quantity at this point
Excessive static stretching does increase the chance of injury. Dynamic stretching would be a different story. Not sure how much of each he was doing, but either way 2 hours a day is ridiculous and almost certainly counter productive to preventing injury.

Bosa family is not hurting for money. They love football, love Ohio State, and are absolutely not the type to sit out healthy. Not gonna happen unless he’s truly not recovered

Yeah, I don't get that. It's pretty simple, warm up, stretch, work out. Doing too much of any of them can be bad.

Easy start to this game. Already up 14-0 and hopefully get the backups plenty of playing time today.

Haskins off to another big start, so much for Meyer not being able to develop a pro - style QB.

A little surprised how dominating the Buckeyes have been in this game. Expected an easy win but this has been really impressive.

WinstonSmith has a little shameless behaviour in the past
2nd half play calling has been extraordinarily lame. Seems like Meyer took over the play calling. Never really gave Martell a chance to really run the offense.

Yeah not looking forward to the Martell era (Urban will force him to be run first). Enjoying the ride this year while weíve got The One.

Bosa doesnít have to play one more down of college football for him to be the first non-QB, and maybe the first pick period, in next yearís NFL draft. Sitting out didnít hurt Clowney at all. I hope Bosa plays again as a Buckeye, but he doesnít need to do it. I donít think they could beat Bama without him, unfortunately. Heís that much of a difference-maker.

Yep, he’s a guy that takes the defense from good to great. Great is what they would need to beat Bama.

With Chase Young in the fold, Ohio State could have DEs go top 5 in back to back years
