SWOC Week 5

Ok, I'll go ahead and get this started. Whats it gonna be? I have:

Healthy over Ross in a confidence building win
Little Miami gets a conference win over Talawanda
Northwest falls to Massie with another running clock and ejections
....and
Game of the week
Edge over Harrison in a close slobber knocker, least mistakes wins......

Very interested to see how Clinton Massie stacks up against Northwest.

LM wins big on Homecoming. Hopefully Patton is back and healthy.

Owls over the Rams...running clock.

I need Hoser for this pick. He loves Frankie Young. Is this game at the Edge or Harrison? I'll take the home team.

I'm more interested to see how northwest stacks up against massie, this game could easily be a running clock.

Massie with a running clock easily. NW is horrible and their HC is an excuse machine. His team has no discipline, no heart, and no plan and its everyone else's fault. They were frustrated and out of control by the middle of the second against Edgewood.

I predict Massie scores on every possession and doesn't throw a pass.

Edgewood is at home but this game is on the shoulders of the defense. Should be a good one.

Healthy beats Ross easy

Little Miami smashes Talawanda by 40

Northwest is a mess right now, they lose bad with more terrible discipline

Harrison over Edgewood 24-14.

I would like to see the Panthers pitch another shutout, despite the competition. Couple former LM head coaches on the Defensive staff in Gray and Bagley.

Don't see too many Edgewood posters on here anymore so I'll step up to the plate and say congrats to the Cougars in a great win over Harrison. Thought this was a rebuilding year for the Cougars maybe I heard wrong. Without any hiccups the Cougars have a good channce to win the league.

Talk amongst those in the SWOC is that Harrison gave them the game. Harrison still slinging the ball around with 3 minutes to go when they had a lead. interception-interception on last two possessions and Edgewood walks out the winner.

Uh, Edgewood turned the ball over 4 times in the first quarter. Uh cant say for sure, but that sounds like Edgewood was trying to give the game to Harrison. Uh Harrison will finish 8-2, and I suspect Edgewood will finish 8-2. Uh the key in the playoffs is to be #5 or #6. Woods, Anderson, Lasalle, and Belmont will be the top 4. Troy will be there too.You don't want to finish 6, 7, or 8.

Edgewood was the better team this year. First half was full of mistakes that killed long drives for Edgewood. Edge D was on point and the O moved the ball at will most of the night. Save the four first half fumbles and one bad punt, Edge goes in at the half 21-7. Instead it's 14-17 Harrison. Edge cleans up their act and plays the second half like they should and.....result! Two touchdowns plus a defensive shut out.

Congrats to Harrison. They are tough as usual. Got what i expected, a good clean hard nosed game.

Interceptions in the fourth were due to Harrison pressing from behind with a dinged up QB against a good defense.

Harrison gave nothing away. Edgewood took the game from them after the half!

Uh, Nick Noble and DJ Whiles are really great DBs . Uh, both should be all-league and more.

Uh obviously, Harrison got worn down. 4 ints by Edgewood won the game.Nick Noble and DJ Whiles are 2 of the best players in this league. Edgewood junior RBS Williams and Phillips are really good players.
