Lebanon out played, and out hustled, Fenwick in every phase of the game. I am not a Lebanon or Fenwick fan.

looked like classic mental let down after big win last night. No energy to start game and quickly fell behind to an undefeated team running very disciplined offense. Lebanon is a lot better this year than previous years. Fenwick will be fine going forward - nobody expected them to go 22-0

Why not? They always play a sorry nonleague schedule and they already beat the best team in the North or Central in Purcell.

Talawanda 1-4
Edgewood 2-3
Lebanon 6-0
TVS 1-3
Reading 4-3
Maderia 2-4 (Lost to Purcell and Roger Bacon)
Clinton Massie?
Miamisburg 4-2(Lost to Springfield and Northmont)
St.Xavier 4-1
Monroe 4-2 (DII Dayton Sectional)
Oakwood 2-4 (DII Dayton Sectional)
Valley View 2-3 (DII Dayton Sectional)

You mentioned weak schedule I just thought i would post records of their non-league opponents. They still have to play McNich, Badin, from the central and still have the GCL north twice! Their league play alone is a brutal schedule! I know some of their Division I opponents are garbage but they still scheduled 5 DI teams. Why not? When was the last time somebody in the GCL went 22-0?

I honestly think they were gassed and feeling themselves a little to much after upsetting Purcell friday night. Which that game was tough to watch. Purcell was had a bad night, Fenwick had a kid throwing 3s in that will never hit 4 3s in a quarter again, refs very lopsided. Usually the more aggressive team shoots for Free throws, well Fenwick probably shot double the amount of 3s yet shot almost double the amount of Free throws. Was a friday night GCL game where anyone can beat anyone. Please dont post their out of conference schedule though. Thats embarassing compared to other GCL schools out of conference. I do think Fenwick will win the North though. They have 2 kids that are pretty good.

Can't even believe you went to the foul thing. Purcell was in double bonus way before Fenwick. At one time in second half the fouls were 12 (fenwick) to 6(Purcell). Fenwick only attempted 15 3's which is lower than average for them. Agree with most of your other comments.

I’m not saying they didn’t deserve to win. They did. But Fenwick 32ft to 20ft to Purcell. Also Purcell’s Big gets 2 fouls in the first 2 min which is whatever it happens but one of those fouls was a T for touching the backboard when he dunked it. I mean come on how many guys you see touch the board In a game and no call? Regardless Fenwick deserved the win. That pg is quick and very underrated

An undefeated season would be an incredible accomplishment. I just meant that they are certainly talented enough to beat anyone on their schedule. And, just for the record, their D1 opponents are certainly not strong traditionally. In fact, just the opposite.

Here's a video of the T they called for touching the backboard. How ridiculous

Mcnick is rolling right now. Think it will come down to them and Purcell the last game of the year at Mcnick for the GCL. Should be a good one.

Fenwick scored two points in the first quarter. You do not see that too often from a decent team.

Fenwick D could not stop the disciplined Lebanon offense, especially man to man. Lebanon’s big man did miss quite a few bunnies. Fenwick could get some credit for that.

Fenwick’s best offense was when the point guard was isolated with Lamb and he took him to the hole.

There was not much to talk about from the ‘big’ men.

Yeah that offense was good for 4 points and 7 turnovers.

McNick 55
Roger Bacon 48

Went to this game last night. McNick looked solid. They have 9 guys that play quite a bit without much drop off in talent. They got a little lax in 4Q and gave up 24 to RB making the final score closer than it should have been.

McNick players laugh at how bad the comp is at the Xmas tourneys they go to every year. That being said, how pathetic is the one Alter went to if they can win by 60?

Yeah I know nothing about any of those teams McNick played. Not sure if they were schools about McNick's size, bigger, smaller . The team they beat by 30 in the first game was 13-2 Lol. I watched a little of the final on line. The announcer kept commenting about their physical defense, looked like normal GCL in your face defense to me . So they were obviously use to a different style.

Purcell beats Lasalle 67-66 at Lasalle. Huge game Friday. Undefeated mcnick comes to Purcell. The best team mcnick has seen thus far easily.
