You have absolutely zero influence in my investing stratedgy. Look at my posts a few weeks back, I said I was going to do this back then. Dont flatter yourself or tie me to any of this ignorant/nonsensical bs you put on here.

Do you use his fundamental analysis strategies when you do your research on the underlying holdings in "derivatives"?

I have my own strategy, but I would say Warren is certainly an influence on my style. He gets it.

Thought this was well put.

A lot of people are starting to wake up. Few see that the debt ceiling debate that will kick in over the next 2 months will be the catalyst.

We shall see. One thing is for sure, that with cash on the sidelines, there will be some volatility instruments I'll be looking at for sure.

Yeah... I could find 20 "experts" completely agreeing and completely disagreeing with me. Posted that because I thought his logic in that article alone is good not because I think he is some great market guru...

Feel good about my portfolio. Mostly cashed out.

I do still have a grand long on stocks split between the remains of my NOK position and some bio-med company. Not worth the commission to bail on them.

Just got in to it with some guy who had a really bad restriction (one that I have never seen before in two years) because he owes a ton in a margin call and was mad his account was restricted. OBCD's future for sure.

Pretty well? Markets are down as I expected. 1700 s&p from Thursday/Friday may prove to be the high. It wouldn't completely shock me if the S&P does one final leg up to 1720ish before a major move down.
I'm not concerned about that.. I'm holding a number of December options betting on a major correction or even a crash. They are green right now, but I expect much more and will hold those even if they go red the next two weeks. I won't exit those until the debt ceiling issue is resolved. That means late September at the earliest.

The debt ceiling isn't on peoples radars. Ridiculous. Taper ending will look like small cheese compared to congress fighting after they return from recess.

This has been a long bull run... In a couple months many will be kicking themselves for not recognizing its over.

edit: And I did end up exiting on my final NOK shares.. All I hold now is terrible biomed flop I blew $500 on. I view those shares as a lottery ticket hoping they cure cancer in 5 years.

You keep acting like a huge crash is imminent, but then deny that it will be huge. Which is it?
