Gentler? Not sure what you mean. And who cares if he uses his parent's address, it's a moronic rule. You can play sports in KY from OH and IN, but not the other way? It's bogus.

Stick to HS sports in your crappy state. I'm sure the Madison Lumberjack team is dominant.

Campbell County Tuition $0 Distance 7.6 Cost to get to school 0 Total $0

So Brossart would save me $5293.40 or about $21,173.6 for four years
Campbell County would save me $12,468.40 or $49,873.60 for four years.
When I look at an investment of $12,468 per year, that is a big deal to me, I guess I don’t have the deep pockets of some of you.

That doesn't even factor in the safety aspect.
The million dollar question for me is...

What is Brossart doing right that allows them to charge only $7175 for tuition as opposed to the 11-12K that Elder/LaSalle/Moeller have to charge?

Less students = less operating costs = Lower tuition.

People keep calling me narrow minded, I just think Elder's the best school and all other schools aren't as good. It used to be called school spirit.

Why is it traitorous to send your kid to a different HS if it's a better fit but not a different college?

The selection process for college is much more intricate than HS. Again, you're being intentionally ignorant if you don't see that.

You're not answering the question: If a different high school is a better fit for your child, and a different college is a better fit for your child, why is one okay and the other isn't?

How is a HS a "better fit?" It's not like college where you're choosing one based heavily on career aspirations. They all teach the same thing.

Then why does it matter? If they all teach the same thing.

Location, friends attending, athletics, etc. You wouldn't know anything about those last two but you get the idea.

As Ted pointed out above, sounds like you basically made the argument that there's nothing special about Elder. So which is it?

Guess it just sucks to live in Ohio "worst state ever". Stick with being ignorant, you are excellent at nothing else. Well that and being Cohen's little beatch.

So a D2 or D3 Elder would be cheaper?

Probably. However, operating costs rise linearly with enrollment. Brossart is still a newer school compared to Elder. If Elder shrunk to their size, it would take time to reduce the cost that far down. It's require a lot of layoffs and cuts in retirement.
