Is most of that going to the clubhouse guy ?

Might be more poor discretion than greed.....

The jock-sniffers that drop coin on crap from non-elite QBs deserve to get hosed, anyway.

Sounds like his agent was asking for it.

This isn't the first time he has been accused of doing this either

I guess I might buy some of this kind of stuff for a quick flip if I could "$teal" it, but it's really kind of a joke to me in the first place.

There's no way he could get in real legal trouble for this sort of thing, is there ?
He's really just tanking his own memorabilia's provenance at this point, right ?

It's productive to mix those ?s in with the sniper shots now and then. Initiates discussion for some of us.

It is humorous.

Too bad that Eli realizes that he isn't the most articulate guy out there. I don't expect much of a Q&A on the subject from him.

Who cares? What a scummy industry that is. Middle aged men stalking athletes in hotels for autographs; dirtbags forging Joe DiMaggio signatures in their mom's basements...

I never understood the appeal of an autograph or sports memorabilia.

I have an authentic Sidd Finch signed jersey that I'm willing to sacrifice to the highest bidder. It's an unbelievable must-have addition to anyone's sports memorabilia collection. It is certified as authentic, by an authentic certifier and comes complete with an authentic "Certificate of Authenticity" ... this certificate clearly states the authenticity of the jersey and that the jersey is not only authentic, but it's also certified as such and it says so clearly on the certificate, complete with an authentic signature.

For collection, I agree. For nostalgia, ehh...

About the only thing I've ever found myself wanting was Todd Frazier's autograph. Took my son (7 at the time) to the HRD two years ago and Todd was his favorite player. I've got the HRD tickets preserved, as well as the official HRD baseball (not the ones they used, but the commemorative ones - it's yellow) that I had intened to have signed to make a nice piece for my son as he grows older.

Then he was traded....

Yeah, I think that's the way it should be. Adults who buy/sell/collect memorabilia doesn't really make sense to me.
