I don't think its a shoe in that GS even makes it. SA has been looking awful good.

I actually like the Cavs chances better against GS than SA.

JR's hammy issue is quite concerning. They will need his defense.

It had the benefit of getting Shump in the game. I'm not sure why he's been sitting as it would seem he's their best guy to throw at George.

Shump was clearly pi$sed off that he hasn't been playing much. Good to see that energy on defense

Probably his offensive struggles and recent history of uneven-ness on D.

It wasn't that long ago that Shump was regarded as a top perimeter defender and JR a defensive liability. Last year's playoff run turned that on it's ear, but that was the history. Shump hasn't really been right on the court since his child with the health concerns was born. Probably compound kid/wife issues. Hopefully he can get back on track, because they need him, with or without a healthy JR.

Hopefully, he will maintain it. You can't blame Lue for being hesitant. I would have been, anyway.

I've been thinking that too, about how JR has become known as a good defender while Shump's reputation for his D has dropped off. Defense is 90% effort.

I'm more concerned with JR's brain cramps. Scares me every time he touches the ball on offense. I'd rather see Shump play.

Hmmmm, Cavs looking solid tonight. Down 26 with a minute left in 1st half. Not playing defense or offense.

LeBron definitely needs to dribble out front more until the shot clock nearly expires. Genius.

Indiana averaged 105 per game this year. They scored 74 in the first half. That special defense Lue was saving for the playoffs looks great.

Myles Turner is one of the Cav's greatest assets tonight.

Larry Bird has to be losing his damn mind.

I like Lue stcking with what works and keeping Derron Williams, Korver, Shump, Frye and LBJ in the game.

Nate McMillan looks like he doesn't know where he is.

Team showed a lot of determination and heart tonight.

Did you see brian, behind the Cavs' bench, screaming at them ? 1227 saved them.

Larry Bird had the look I get when I've just discovered the stomach flu has found my lower intestine and I'm miles from the nearest restroom.

LeBron James is the best player on the planet. And even though he will not win it, he is the MVP this year.

They were a .500 team for the last almost 60% of the season in the Eastern conference. He's not the MVP

What in the world does that have to do with anything? If anything, that just solidifies the case for LBJ. Keeping them afloat with all the injuries. Statistically, he's MVP. The Cavs were winless when he doesn't play. He's been doing this consistently for 14 years. He is the best overall player. And he is DEFINATELY the Most Valuable to the Cavs.
The Most VALUABLE player award SHOULD go to the player that is most valuable to his team. That is what the award is. But it has turned into a statistical and popularity contest.

Interesting performance out of the Cavs last night. Also, LeBron is still very good. Russ should take some notes on how LeBron was running the offense in the late third and early fourth quarters
