The Jackson bench was pointing it out. The kid from Moeller was dumb, but no way that's a T. And in a game that ended up as a 1 point loss, it made a difference.

Wow! Just wow! Why all the anger? It's just high school basketball. Other than as a diversion, nobody should really care so much about it now.

Yep. Maybe, the ref felt "dissed". One bump - OK. But, the second one? Stupid. But, not T-able. Of course, MJ missed the second shot, so.....

Call the Waahmbulance. Bad refs, bad calls, bad blah blah. Jax won. Congrats to the winners. Home grown kids whom have played together for years, not a bunch of transfer privates who are paid to play.

There's some truth and some stupidity in his post. Activities by some of the Catholic schools are sketchy, but blaming your school's short comings entirely on them is ignorant.

He should have called the foul. The Moeller kid was being a punk, but to call a T? That guy should never ref again.

It should tell you something when unbiased fans are calling the refs garbage.

To clear things up...

It was not a T. It was an intentional foul.

It was definitely the wrong call though, because nothing about the play was 'excessive', to use the wording of the rules.

So? Middletown wasn't playing bc they weren't any good. That's not Moeller's fault.

Losers blame refs. Guarantee the Moellor coaches and players will not follow such line of thought because they get it. Congrats to Moellor on a great season.

We should see if Yappi would consider changing the name of the site to complain.com, because that's all I've heard on here lately.

Yeah the refs sucked, they have sucked all year according to everyone on here, so what's changed?
As a side note, I will not be seen criticizing officials on here because, I don't have the balls and do not want to deal with the hassles, spotlight, and criticism of the job.

I thought the refs called it too close in the 1st half. But I'm sure that the refs are better than all the posters who are "clearing things up" on here about the officiating.

Moellor successfully slowed the pace to the lowest scoring final in about 50 years. Refs called the sluggish game they saw.

Public beats a private so whining will follow.

Never mind the numerous no-calls on the Moeller defense inside the Jackson paint.

Bottom line is this....Moeller did what they had to do to have a chance to win this game (i.e. slow the game down)....despite doing that, they didn't win. Jackson had the better team. Institute a shot clock and Jackson wins by quite a bit more than a point.

Congrats to Jackson on the state title. Congrats to Moeller on a great season. Institute a shot clock!

Keep up. The conversation revolves around Middletown's championships from decades ago to vasj svsm, today.

Ya, get ready for the Privates to demand separate playoffs. The whining is about to start.

Palotta for the final 4 MVP.

Jax lead the game for 24 minutes. Moellor led for 3.

I blame the Pope for the officiating.

Jackson was the better team and I'm not even saying they didn't deserve to win. But those two late calls were atrocious.

I think the Moeller team knows that didn't play great- Voss in foul trouble, Keegan barely able to see out of one eye, struggling to get the ball in the basket, dumb turnovers they just looked off. The intentional was not something I think they will ever get- it was just unbelievable, as one reporter put it. Deuce was a bright spot- smart, tough player.

Makes about as much sense as your other posts Descartes. New Philadelphia?

Ha ha doesn't matter. Go blame the refs while the winners collect the nets and the hardware.
