Maybe it's just a lull in the season or something, and west coast trips are tough (never seem to hear much about west team coming east though) but the Cavs got rocked last night in Portland. An 18-23 Portland team who was running circles around them.
I'm shocked Portland's record is what it is. They looked great last night, deep, athletic, Lilliard really didn't have a great game and it was 10 points or more most of the 2nd half. Korver not getting off to the start he would hope in Cleveland.

It's unfortunate they can't just skip January and February. All these games are useless

Cavs would clearly be battling for an 8 seed in the West

Personally I think they'd be battling the Mavs for the worst record in the West.

Cavs get out of their funk, winning @ Sacramento as Korver drops in four triples and 18 points.

Golden State on deck

Draymond Green should have been ejected for that flagrant foul.

Chris Webber showed that people who have played the game don't always understand it better than those who have never played at a high level. During his commentary of the play, he actually tried to argue that Green was reaching in for the ball and it was a normal foul. Not sure if he's that uneducated on basketball officiating or if he just doesn't like LeBron and/or the Cavs.

With that said, Cavs don't look good tonight.

Pretty scary that Green is a new father. You would think that would put things in perspective and he would grow up. Cheap shot and as LeBron is on the floor he's laughing and taunting with the fans in the front row. Green is a piece of garbage. He continues to show his lack of character.
Just like Christmas Day was just a win, this is just a loss.

Golden St recently blew a 24 point 2nd half lead at home, one of the most epic melt downs in sports history. What about that?

As much as I like the NBA, this is becoming more and more of a problem, and that is preferential treatment of stars. Now Draymond Green isn't a star, he's a very good player on a great team. He should have been immediately ejected last night, no questions asked. Add to the fact that he has a history of these kinds of shenanigans and last night was a no brainer. But in pro sports today, we are so willing to give 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances that this continues to happen, over and over again.

Now, there is no doubt in my mind that LeBron flopped big time. This is the guy who barrels down the lane routinely knocking players down on his way to the hoop. He looked like he got hit by Ray Lewis in a tackling drill??

Last night is the scary thing about the Warriors, if they play at their highest level, they can't be beaten. The Cavs, while at the end of a long road trip, was a full speed, only JR Smith is out and Korver more than makes up for JR. So no excuses here.

Still just a regular season game and it certainly appears the Cavs will be in the finals. As well as the Warriors looked last night, they have a very, very difficult road to the finals. The Warriors will have very difficult 2nd and 3rd round playoff series before they would even get to the finals, and that's a legit talking point. The Cavs should be no more than 5 games in any of their series and should be well rested for the finals.

Cavs got smoked. Draymond should have been ejected. That dude has a serious Grayson Allen-like problem.

With the sheer amount of offensive firepower on GS's team there's just nothing you're gonna be able to do sometimes. Cavs will see them in the finals again. Hopefully they are fully healthy and clicking at the right time. Kyrie and LBJ can carry them to two or three wins. Love/JR/Thompson/Korver will have to step up for another one or two

What you saw was Golden State at just about his highest level, and when they play that kind of interior defense, no one can beat them. But I don't think anyone who follows that Cavs should be ready to climb out on a ledge. The Cavs still have a roster move or two to make (wouldn't mind seeing Bogut if Dallas waives him) but Golden State whipped the Cavs pretty well last year during the regular season and you saw what happened.

Isn't it funny how people get up in arms about Grayson Allen's antics, and Draymond Green does this continually and nothing seems to happen?? The league did a nice job cleaning up this stuff back in the 80's-90's with Charles Oakley, Bill Laimbeer and Dennis Rodman. Let's not go back there again. There is nothing about some of Green's antics that is remotely needed in the NBA. And frankly, he's less important to the Warriors than he's been the last few years.

The Cavs are now without JR Smith and Kevin Love.I hope they do not bring Love back to soon.

When JR is back we are going to have alot of depth!

Go Cavs

Cavs in that mid-season slump that most teams go through. The key is to maintain the #1 seed in the East, and stay healthy. Once the playoffs begin, regular season records mean nothing. Ask the GSW
